One of my favorite restaurants in Temple. Delicious food wonderful staff and everyone really seems to be happy to be there. Always treated with smiles and friendly service. The food is a little pricey but they get a lot of it locally from what I've heard and the quality is well worth the price. Also they have beer and wine if you need a little break.

I came here with my sister on Thursday April 12. This was my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time I came here was last year and I ordered a chic pea sandwich (vegan). Two days ago we asked the waitress if some appetizers and entree were vegan and she said yes. She even recommended switching some things out with their black bean patty option to make it vegan. I was about to order their bahn mi but she said she will go to the back and make sure which items on the menu are vegan. When she came back she apologized and said that "someone in the back" told her the only vegan items on the menu are the fruits and water... The bakery in the entrance has one vegan item which is their granola bar and it's very good. Other than that the experience was bad because they took away some vegan options and I got the impression that this person from the back did not want to verify the menu items.

I usually have a pleasant experience at Megg’s but today was not satisfactory. The steak was over cooked. I had asked for medium rare and it was a tough medium. I felt the eggs and steak were under seasoned. The potatoes and bread were well cooked. I brought up the issue after I was finally able to touch base with my server, but nothing was resolved.

I would like this place a lot more if the staff acted like they cared, dressed like they cared about themselves instead of like they just woke up on their friend's couch late for work, and if they didn't treat people so differently based on how they are dressed. The food is decent but I never feel like I get as good as service as others because I choose to wear t-shirts & jeans instead of slacks & blouses. I have even had servers try to take my plate away while I was still actively eating without asking me if I was done first.

Everything was great. Food took a little to long considering the amount of guests present. I think they had a short employee meeting after we placed our order. Was given gift card for future visit. Very nice waitress and manager.
