Their food is amazing and there's always something tasty for everyone. (including vegans!) I have been dining here for years and their quality hasn't changed a bit. Always excellent and I am more than happy to recommend them! It's also nice to be able to get Thai and Chinese under the same roof as well. Cheers to the owners and staff for having such a great place!

J Wongs was a fun experience. The service was amazing. Our waiter was quick and helpful. The food was good, it came out warm and cooled pretty quick. The flavor was average, not the best Chinese or Thai food that I had. Probably will try another Asian restaurant before going here again.

We were asked by our 2 out of state guests from Pennsylvania to take them back to J. Wong's Bistro, as they had a strong desire to partake of another fantastic dining experience that they had experienced well over a year ago. We all chose to dine from the Special Luncheon Menu that includes 2 entrees from a very large list to choose from. Our selections included two fantastic appetizers the Pan Fried Pork Pot Stickers, Wonton Shrimp Puffs and Wonton Noodle Soup. Our luncheon entrees consisted of Walnut Shrimp, Tangerine Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Thai Basil Chicken, Mixed Vegetables and Sweet and Sour Pork. All the plates were beautifully prepared and laid out, but the best part of our afternoon was eating the sumptuous and well prepared dishes. All of our selections tasted superb and the service matched the quality of our meals.

We have been here on several occasions over the last 5 years, generally before we go to the Opera because they are so close to the Capital Theater. I really like their Tangerine Chicken as well as their Beef & Broccoli. Tonight, we tried their Chicken Satay appetizer and, wow, it is a good value. That being said, I dinged them a star for inflexibility. At dinner time, they will not substitute their side white/brown rice for fried rice, even for an additional fee. I would have to buy an order of fried rice for $8. How Un-Chinese-Restaurant of them...

Upscale atmosphere with subpar food. The Thai dishes are very loose interpretations of what they should be. There is little to no spice in the food itself. The Khao Soi isn't even close to what it should be. There are a few places that serve this in salt lake and this one was by far the worst rendition. It's more of a sweet and thick curry than a spicy coconut curry broth. This is simply one of those places where you visit just for the sake of spending money. The value is non-existent.
