We always enjoy our visits to Boudreaux's. The food seems to have gotten even better lately, and the portions are perfectly fair for the prices. Really excellent seafood gumbo and crab cakes, and one of the best places for a Bloody Mary in the area. The wait staff, in our experiences, are all pleasant. We really enjoyed our waitress this evening, though I unfortunately can't recall her name. She was prompt, friendly, and super sweet to our 5 year old. All in all, this is a solid and nice spot for a good meal.

Food was good, not any fault of our server, he was really nice... But you would think the owner/manager would have had more staff on Graduation weekend. We waited 1 hour for appetizers and almost 2 hours for our food. It wasn’t that busy to warrant that service.

Surprising find in a college town. Great food, happy hour drink specials, friendly knowledgable staff. Parking isn't the best, but it's downtown, so that's kind of expected. I had shrimp and grits, very good, could have used another shrimp or two, but it was the right amount of food, so I'm not complaining. Plus quite possibly the highest quality garden salad I've ever been served. Carrot sticks, not shreds, and fresh, savory croutons, thin sliced onions, not the big fat inedible ones restaurants give you to fill out a salad because they're cheap. My wife had ettouffe, which was thick and just the right amount of spicy. Also red beans and rice that she really enjoyed. A wide variety of beer on tap, plus local, Louisiana and import bottles. They also have 12 different kinds of Louisiana hot sauce.

This was a fun little bar with a great staff. The staff honestly made the experience so much fun. We stayed for a few cheap drinks ( great prices) and left with a smile on our faces.

I’ve truly never felt the need to write a review of a restaraunt before but, this is the exception. Some friends and I came for the Sunday brunch, and to say we left angry would be an understatement. The waiter took our orders and then told us it would be a half hour wait... we weren’t thrilled about that, because we had to get somewhere and it would have been nice to have had that information before being seated, but it was fine. He brought our waters, we asked for straws, and waited. We talked, played a game, etc... but, thirty minutes passed, forty minutes passed, fifty minutes passed, and FINALLY we received our food (and the straws) just under an hour after we ordered. Mind you, we ordered breakfast food and sandwiches- two of the quickest meals to make. The food wasn’t terrible, but was certainly not worth any wait, let alone an hour. We were offered no apology, discount, or anything at all. Then our waiter came back and brought the checks... all separate checks for three married couples. Let’s just say, it took another 15 minutes to get our checks back, figured out, and signed. I checked my bank account today and the waiter had charged my card THREE times. Unless you have a ton of time and low expectations- Do not, do not, do not, do not, go here. Seriously the worst restaraunt experience of my life.
