We (four adults) happened upon this place for a late lunch during a street fair, and were thrilled with the experience. Fast and friendly service from knowledgeable staff, clean but comfy ambiance, excellent local/regional beer, and excellent food from sandwiches (the Reuben is a fantastic open face improvement on a classic!) to fish (the salmon was perfectly cooked, and ideally paired with brussel sprouts and greens). Reasonable prices made it all a great value. Definitely our first choice when we return to the area, our even if we had nearby.

First off...the idiot that doesn't like Juan is...well an idiot. He is a normal industry person and my guess is that they haven't ever had to do this life and deal with people like them. He's great. Onward. Great local beer. That is coming from a guy from CO, and we are beer snobs. Had the fried chicken. Real good (getting tender white meat is always a joy). Mac and cheese is good (hard to screw up). Beer cheese is a great blend of cheese sauce and actual cheese. If I lived here I'd be here all the damn time. But I will recommend to all the folk I know in the area.

I've been to this location several time & have to say the food & beer is lovely. Truly enjoyable. However, this is where it ends. Unfortunately several of my visits have been ruined by a server Juan. Juan seems to think he is above his server status & meets attempts at conversation with snarky comments. This is not limited to interaction with customers but also with management. Maybe this is funny behind closed doors but on the floor, it gives a poor impression. I thought this was perhaps a fluke but time & again I have been treated rudely by Juan while he smugly smirks & strolls off. Sorry, I doubt if I'll be returning to this establishment as when I'm paying good money, I expect courteous treatment. I've warned several folks who have inquired about the Pub off. If I want to be treated poorly by a snarky kid, I can just go to McDonald's, & probably get better service.

Tried this place, happy that we did. Good happy hour deals. The food was better than many other public house type establishments. Staff was quick, attentive and pleasant. We will come back.

After going there once or twice a week for nearly a year, I'm updating my review after a few bad trips. After they took the pork belly tacos (the main reason for going there), I sampled other things on the new menu and they were ok at best - the fish and chips were good. The last time we came in my daughter and I both got the fried chicken. It was so salty it burned my hands, I caught it before my daughter ate it, but it tasted like it had been dredged in straight salt before being fried. They only had one server on that night and he was doing the best he could, but after a number of bad experiences, I'm done. The bar is good, Kate is one of the best servers I've ever seen, so there are some bright spots. I contacted the restaurant with no response. Best of luck!
