This was an ok visit. Some are 5 star some are 2. Waitress was new but fairly good. The food was good as well. Over the years the portion size has gotten much much smaller. Used to fill up a plate and have a full box of left overs.

I was bringing my wife to eat here after all the great reviews. Sadly it wasn't to happen. Made a reservation then we showed up sat at 6:30. Lady at the register was waiting on a customer. Saw us come in. When she finished with him. She then proceeded to attend to waitresses instead of welcoming us to yomatos. She then looked over my shoulder and welcomed another party in as we should have been. There was no way she could have confused us with customers already there. If this is the way yamatos treats strangers. Then I won't be back.

This place I love, but it is odd. They have kind of a friendly personality to the customers but then they like to complain about the irregularities between staff members. It seems like they're always just barely pulling things together with the help that they have. The biggest thing I have to say is that the food is excellent. The sushi is always a wonderful presentation. The avocado salad and the crab meat salad are both excellent. The sushi combination meal is actually a great deal. All in all they make us feel welcome, we are there often, and will continue to return and suggest it to other people.

Love this place. Great for kids and adults alike. The cooks are alot of fun as the perform while they cook. Just a work of caution, some small children are afraid of the fire.

Love the front cooking. Love the positive energy the cooks have. The waiters are so friendly. Lack of parking. A little wait time to. Over all 4.5
