Loved this spot for a nice happy hour stop. The bartenders were so personable and seemed to know most there. Whether they did or not, it had a very "everyone knows your name" vibe. The happy hour prices were awesome with 50% off of $5 and $7 food offerings. The drinks were lovely. This was the best rum and coke I've ever seen, glass of rum with a tiny coke. Not a huge bar, but nice size to feel uncomfortable. Mixed crowd, age, gender, and race. Will be back!

Celebrated our end of the year holiday party at Todd's and everything was fantastic. Appetizers were delicious including fried jumbo gulf fantail shrimp, crispy Peking duck rolls, and fried coconut calamari. We had a three course meal and I chose the pumpkin crab soup which was amazing, my entree was the chicken saltimbocca American which was an excellent culinary pairing of tastes and ingredients. Finished off with the chocolate tort which was also very good. Our serving staff was attentive and our curtain enclosed corner of the restaurant gave us the privacy needed as much as a private room. It was an enjoyable night and I'd recommend the experience.

We decided it would be a #NoCookThxgiving2017 for us. We were very excited to go to Todd Jurich's Bistro in downtown Norfolk for our Thanksgiving family meal. Very convenient location within walking distance from Waterside and Town Point Park. The service was great. They were attentive and polite. The appetizers were good. No problems there. However, our Thanksgiving entrees came out and everything was lukewarm - almost room temperature. I didn't want to ruin our family dinner by complaining to management. But, I expected A LOT more from a $38-$43/per person holiday meal. DISAPPOINTED to say the least. The price included 3 courses per person: appetizer, entree and dessert. We were very full after our entree, so we asked for our dessert to be boxed up so we could take it home. To our surprise, Todd Jurich's charged us $8/per dessert to take home a dessert that was already included in our 3 course meal. It would have been nice if the waitress would have notified us of the additional charges when we asked to have our desserts boxed up to-go. Too many issues for a $200 meal for 3 people. We won't be going back.

My work colleagues and I (a group of 6) decided to have our Christmas lunch at Todd Jurich's Bistro. Yesterday (12/20) was the day. We were seated right away at about 12:15. By 1:15, an hour later, all we had received was our drinks! We had blocked out 2 hours for this holiday lunch, and we had not even gotten our appetizers or salad, one hour in. We were not eating our entree until more than an hour and a half after we got there. The restaurant was only about half empty. However, for some reason we rarely saw our waiter. At one point, a server brought plates to our table, only to realize they went to a different party. The food tasted good, but the entree portion sizes were very small. This was my first time at this restaurant, and likely my last, unless someone else is paying and they are choosing the venue. Sorry, but not impressed.

Fantastic delicious food in a cozy and romantic setting. Impeccable service and location is close by to the Hilton Main cv and Marriot. I give it Easy Recommendation 😎
