Literally no one in here for Saturday lunch except for our party...still waiting for our food 55min later....nothing but a few salads and a couple of panini's. The food preparer dropped my daughter's sub sandwich twice and finally got it right on the third try. I stopped in there on Friday night to check it out and should have known better when there was no one in there at 8 on a Friday evening. The manager did try to make good on it by giving us 25% off our check but too little too late.

We've tried this lace a couple of times. The first time, we tried to order pizza via orderup, and Humboldt Steel canceled the order because they were out of some of the ingredients. We ordered from their stock menu with no substitutions. I tried it in person a couple of weeks ago, and despite the fact that the place was dead, it took forever to get served at the bar. The beer selection is decent, but the service is poor. At the end of the evening, the bartender offered to give us 10% off if we paid cash.

It comes with great disappointment that I leave a review this negative about a restaurant in downtown Norfolk in which I take great pride in supporting the areas local restaurants. In the past my wife and I would go here as the pizza was delicious and beer selection was plentiful. This past Saturday I called to inquire as I was interested in watching the Mayweather vs. Mcgregor fight. They were charging a fair price with drink specials so my brother and I decide to attend. Once entering the restaurant with an open pizza buffet I was confused to find two large dogs walking around the restaurant unleashed and pretty much stalking the pizza bar. For 4 hours I watch numerous people pat the dogs and get food from the pizza buffet, I watched staff pat the dogs and refill the pizza buffet, I watched people uncomfortable with dogs walking freely around a restaurant when they paid to attend an event. I witness the owner of the dog and another customer get into a confrontation as the customer Relayed her dissatisfaction with the dog brushing up against her. That is when i discovered that the dog belonged to an employee working the event. I use to like this place and supported as I was hoping that business would pick up for them. But based on what I witnessed last weekend. I wouldn't touch this place if it was the last restaurant on earth.
