The staff is very attentive, their food is always perfectly cooked. They have a little area in the back you can close off for family events. Their Pork Steak is probably the best pork I have ever tasted. They do not always have the Pork Steak but will make if you request it a day in advance..Trust me it is worth it. I don't not give many restaurants five stars but this one well deserves it. Only thing missing is a view..oh well

Harper's Table was a fantastic experience. We went as part of the Diner's Club from the Culinary Institute of Virginia. There was not one dish that wasn't delicious. I highly recommend the braised pork belly biscuit sandwich, but you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu, which we sampled most of. Chef Harper has put together a pretty awesome spot out there in Suffolk, great food, great service, great decor, check it out.

We had a wonderful experience here. The food and atmosphere was impressive. My lady and I have been recommending this place to everyone we know.

Had an incredibly delicious dinner tonight at Harper's Table. Almost didn't, but so glad we did. Pork belly biscuits should not be skipped! Can't wait for a second visit. Loved the mural and ambience.

Went tonight (Tuesday) with family. Amanda, our waitress was friendly, attentive (not overall so), and had so much knowledge about every item on the menu we asked about, it all sounded cravable. We had the winter citrus salad and a house salad with a raisin vinagarette, which was great. The winter salad was a big salad and very good. We shared the warm olive appetizer which was too much for 2 people, but tasty. The shrimp and grits was very good with in house made sausage. The flounder was a hit. After 1 bite, I knew I'd order again. Crispy on the outside, light and flaky inside. The butter beans and brick cut bacon paired well. There was a light crowd, but it was Tuesday and rainy. We will be back.
