Wife got the Billy Bob burger, she really enjoyed it. I got the chopped brisket and pulled pork with macaroni and cheese as well as the green beans with bacon and onions. Brisket was great, pork was a bit dry. Mac and cheese was really good but honestly the green beans were my favorite part of the meal. Overall great experience, and when we need another good burger or some BBQ, we'll be back.

The owner was walking around, interacting with customers, and helping with both food service and cleaning up today. The food and service were both great. My husband got sweet potato fries and was very impressed with them.

Dirty. No tables were clean and prepared. The atmosphere in general is atrocious, the sort of thing that happens when you design it nice once and then thirty years pass. It's not made clear whether you are supposed to order at counter or at table, especially with the disorganized billboard menu and the stack of folder menus that I only saw as I went to sit down. I ordered a burger. It tasted ok. No silverware on our table, but I found a butter knife on the floor for what that's worth. Huge party of old folks, and in the middle of a shift change, so I tried to ignore the longer wait. All other patrons same age range; this isn't good for a restaurant. Means you had good service before and made some regulars, but bad service now as you've made none since. Probably will close within a few years.

I've tried breakfast and lunch here and they both are tasty. I am "egg picky" and they nailed it. They have this chocolate cake for dessert that is to die for! I'm not really into chocolate cake but I ate this one. Fried okra is awesome.

This is the place for a great home - style meal. Burgers are very satisfying and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone delicious. Best ribs ANYWHERE! They offer cake, cookies, bread pudding for dessert, but the mini-ice cream cones (free) are my choice every time. Treat yourself to a meal in a local family restaurant. Keep your $$ in the community.
