Just had lunch at Ivan’s Seafood. The fish was fresh. The rice was not dried out and the Clam Chowder was delicious. All at a reasonable price. I was greeted once inside like they was happy to see me. Which was a pleasant welcome. I highly recommend and will visit again when I am in area.

This is an okay place. It has friendly staff. There were some things that made frown, I'm from a fishing town. So when you order fish and chips. I expect to have coleslaw and a lemon also. The calm chowder was luke warm but decent. I know it is hard to serve decent calm chowder all day without having it break. I would say the their best dish is the jumbo prawn. Not bad for the city all and all.

I highly recommend eating here. Fantastic counter service. Food is the best. It's a bit on the expensive side but hey. It's good and it's seafood so the price is going to higher than fast food. For 2 or more ppl I would buy the full boat special. Substitute drinks for the Coleslaw if you don't care for it to save a few bucks. The food quality over the years is very consistent.

I have been coming to Ivar's for a long time and I really enjoy the restaurant. Great place to go for a classic fish and chips meal or a casual meet up. The interior is decorated with fish puns and old photos. I order the cod and it is always good and comes out hot. Definitely recommend Ivar's if you're craving some fish
