Brisket pretty good, lean and fairly generous sandwich portion. Mild sauce has a little kick but okay. Appreciate that it's on the side an generous. Stay away from mac & cheese unless you like fake cheese or boxed variety. Service not great considering I was only customer in the place. Didn't offer knife & fork or napkin for take out, I had to reach over the counter and unroll paper towels from a table.

Best lunch in Renton. My personal favorite is the pulled pork and hot link sandwich. The brisket is good also. I always go for the mac and cheese for the side, but there are numerous other good options for sides. There is a parking lot nearby making it easy to find parking and get in. Service is EXTREMELY fast at lunch time. We never have an issue getting in and out with a delicious meal within the time we have.

Good amount of good food, for the price you pay. Half a chicken really was, half a chicken - not some sad excuse for a chicken, like a Cornish game hen or something. The sauce didn't bowl me over, and I would like to see a variety other than heat level. Like a Carolina, vinegar based option, and things like that. A great deal of the flavor comes from the sauce, hence only 4 stars. I will eat here again - ketogenic friendly options abound, if you would like them.

I'm split between 4 and 5 stars because the food is just so good! I decided on 4 stars because some of their meats are sometimes a bit dry. However, the sauces are all excellent, so it kind of offsets. All the meats come with sauce on the side, so you can decide how spicy and how much sauce you want. All the side dishes that I've had are delicious.

The workers are always smiling and ready to serve. We go in twice a month for over 5 years now and have never had a problem with anything food or service. Never heard of them being out of anything either.
