Honeypie has been a fave since its inception. The food, drinks, desserts, and atmosphere have always blended well into an experience worth repeating. Barring a single bartender, service has always been friendly and fast. Recently tried their seasonal brunch menu, and the pork belly really stood out. Tried the risotto (pictured) and really let the flavours linger. The poached egg acted as an additional sauce, and was a great way to start a Sunday.

I respect and admire the amount of natural ingredients used in their dishes. The restaurant is pretty historic looking and has nice staff. It’s small and cozy. For the prices, I didn’t find the food to be that impressive. I’ve eaten there 3x now and each time I am looking for something on the menu that I really like. Their pies are good! The menu items do not really impress me. My friend got a burger and I ordered a paste. He had so much more food than me that it was almost a shame. Most everyone likes it here and I do as well. I’ll keep coming back until I find that dish that I really love.

Great bar/restaurant. Stopped in for a couple beers, good selection. Lots of Bourbons too. The staff was really friendly. I didn't get any dessert but they looked great. We got the truffle fries and pretzles which were both awesome!!!

Come for the pies, stay for the amazing brunch. I had a seasonal scramble with creamy leeks, roasted mushrooms, cheese, with a side of roasted potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the potatoes were gorgeously crisp with a soft center. You can get a generous slice of pie for $6 (enough to share between two), and the flavors are spot-on. My only wish is that there was clear signage on the pies-- most of them are not labeled, so you have to flag down a server. During Sunday brunch, expect a wait.

What's not to love? The place is adorned with historic maps, signs and other interesting touches. Looks like an original bar. Their food is excellent. The chef pumps out inspired non-traditional combinations for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Take one look at the menu to see the elevated flavor profiles. They regularly have over 12 pies on the board by the slice. I'll come back here again and again.
