Service was poor. Took over an hour to get our food. When it came it was cold. At one point we didn't talk to waitress for half hour while we sat there with empty drinks. Also wife had fajitas, which looked nothing like the picture in menu, and was pretty burnt. Pretty sad was there previously and had good food. Will never go back.

So disappointed! We decided on Ground Round for a (day late) Mother's Day celebration. There were 14 of us, and we called a few days ahead to set the reservation. That being said, one would think that they would be better prepared for our group. Our server, although polite, was less than mediocre in organization, and speed. Our strawberry and raspberry margerita's were salt rimmed! Not good! It was as though I was drinking salty flavored water. It took over 20 minutes once we got there for our meal order to be taken, and then over an hour for our food to come out. The sever mentioned that they had NO cranberries for the cranberry walnut salad that one of our group member ordered, and then, came out to say they were out of pineapple that went with another's order. On the third time out, he mentioned that some orders got messed up so that about 3-4 of the meals would be a bit later than the others. Half of us got our food, while the other half got theirs about 15-20 minutes later. The last person got his hamburger 30 minutes after the rest had been served, and many dishes were already being cleared off the table. A man whom I imagine was the manager came out and said he was sorry about the mix up, and wanted to know if anyone was interested in ice cream sundae's to help the situation. Of course the five children with us jumped at the chance to have desert, however, that doesn't do much for the many adults who don't want dessert, and are paying the bill for poor service, and mediocre food. Right before the sundae's came out, the server came out to pass out clean forks for the dessert (sundae's) I'm rolling my eyes...really...forks for sundae's? I realize that establishments can have bad days...but there were just too many mishaps making this a memorable experience, however not a positively memorable one. I can say that we will not be back to this Ground Round. Wish I had better news. ☹️

My husband ordered the taco salad and was completely underwhelmed. The shell and meat were completely cold. And it looked like they just threw some lettuce on the plate. You would hope in a decent restaurant that they would at least make their food fresh upon order, but I guess not. He ate about 3 bites and was done, it was so bad. The waitress asked how everything was and he said he didn’t like it. She said oh and shrugged her shoulders then asked if I needed a box. I would say her response made things worse. Show some kind of empathy. Say you’re sorry, offer to comp something, get a manager. Really disappointed.

Was here on a Sunday morning for brunch. After being seated and having staff walk past us at least a half dozen times, we still had not been even offered a beverage. We waited 50 minutes on a not busy day before asking to see a manager. The manager asked us what time we got there and stated that he wasn't here at the time and just checked in - which was an absolute lie as he walked past 3 times during our wait. He stated that he wished we would have known the issue sooner. We informed him of our disappointment and proceeded to Delta family restaurant where it was busier and we were immediately served.

Great view of the river, Love the outside patio, and the Cherry Popper drink is amazing. We came back to Louisiana and looked up the recipe for it. Also the food was great.
