Sometimes you just have to take a break. Go have food that is loaded with calories and absolutely delicious. And then there comes the desert. They're just too tempting not to have something. The pies are fantastic. Going there for Thanksgiving is just fantastic if family is not in town.

Had breakfast here one Saturday morning and it was absolutely fabulous the service was quick excellent and with a smile. I had the basic eggs bacon sausage and coffee but it was out quick and got me on my way to work fast. It's very close to where I work so definitely be going back again.

When meeting someone for breakfast, I always try to think of a place where the food is amazing and I won’t be rushed in and out of my chair in 20 minutes. Usually, you get one or the other, but rarely both. However, I went back to a diner-type restaurant at the suggestion of my guest yesterday and ended up at Village Inn on North Dale Mabry before you get to Waters Ave. We talked for more than 2 hours and were not rushed to order. We talked for 1/2 hour before we ordered and had delicious meal that was hot, hearty and our drinks continued coming until we left! Our waitress was pleasant and not bothered one bit of our lengthy reunion. Needless to say, it was a nice surprise and I will definitely go back again for more talk, tasty hot food, and tactfully trained waitresses (who was left a nice tip!).

Great food and staff! Can't remember the last time I had a breakfast this good. Very busy location. Wait can be long. Very hard working staff doing their best to politely service wave after wave of customers. Also kudos to the hands on managers pitching in to help their over worked workers ...

The food is not no the problem here. Customer service is. When someone comes inside to order and then the cashier makes them wait to place a To go order only to take a phone call. Nah I'm good. The managers here are good. But I had no time to go to them again for their staff. On my way to find somewhere who has time to help me and take my money.
