Love the vegan options and the butternut squash tacos. They also have mushrooms tacos and soy steak strips for vegans too. Great tasting food, prepared fresh. Be sure to specify no cheese if you order beans on the side if you're vegan. They offer Daiya vegan cheese as an option for burritos and quesadillas. I've never been disappointed at Taco Bus. Reasonable prices, quick service and great food.

I honestly never write these things but I thought I should, just because I was so disappointed in my experience at the Taco Bus in downtown Tampa. I have eaten at Taco Bus before (in St. Pete) and the experience was just fine. However, the conditions of the downtown location are horrid. The bathroom was one of the dirtiest bathrooms I have ever seen in a restaurant or fast food chain...just unclean :( Unfortunately, I had already ordered and paid for my food before I had gone in there, otherwise I would have walked right out. The bean and rice burrito I ordered was also just super sub-par. It was not fresh and I forgot to ask for the whole wheat option, so the actual burrito was not great. Also, the cheese in the burrito was right from the fridge and never even melted! And the peas in the rice were shriveled up. Really bad experience, would not recommend especially given the uncleanliness of the bathroom and restaurant in general.

Cuts of meat not the best or quality. Guy taking order was so enthusiastic... I'm being sarcastic. I Felt like a number... next. And there was no line. He should of been in charge of cleaning the bathrooms. Place is dirty and needs to be remodeled. Won't be back. Better service and cleaner at McDonald's. And I'll take my chances with Chipotle.

I guess taco bus has given up. After spending $18 on two burritos they refused to give me a water cup and told me I had to purchase bottled water. It’s 90° outside and they wouldn’t even give me a soda cup with water it in. Last time I’ll eat there.

Only Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to that has vegan options! They even have vegan cheese! I got the burrito bowl and it was so big that I had leftovers for the next day. Super friendly staff, authentic atmosphere, yummy sauces. Will be back
