Railcar is a great farm to table in the city with great eats. Their happy hour menu is definitely something to be happy about! My Fiance got the Boiler which is a burger and fries a shot and a beer. He loved it! I got the Salmon off the dinner menu and it was perfect!

Delicious and creative foods! Always finding something interesting to try. The price range of food is wonderful, you can splurge and spend $30 on a scallop and crab entree, or be just as happy with a $15 burger. The happy hour and reverse happy hour are enough for a full meal! Sweet potato puffs are a must try, and a diner in my party loved her creative cauliflower sandwich!

I never want to eat another croissant unless it comes from Railcar Modern American Kitchen. I’m seriously ready to make that pledge. We had brunch there a couple weeks ago and everything was very nice but the croissant they brought us to share before our meal was completely unforgettable. I don’t know if we were just completely famished when we went or the timing was just perfect but, man, that croissant was incredible. It had just the lightest amount of sugar on top. It was airy and fresh. We bragged about that croissant to several people later that day. That was our first brunch experience there so I don’t know if this is something they do for everyone but it’s well worth a trip just to try that beautiful croissant.

Went to Railcar for the first time on a very busy Saturday night, from what I could see every table was full. The food was very good. Service was OK, friendly but a little on the slow side, probably due to how busy they were. I would definitely go back again, but probably on a weeknight to avoid the crowds. They have a great (and inexpensive) kids menu with lots of options.

Service was okay, our server was very aloof and not very friendly. Food portions were small for the price! The food itself was good, nothing to write home about though. Atmosphere was a mix between cozy, rustic, and modern. Sports playing on the TV. It was very quiet when we went. (7pm on a Friday evening)
