When the father owned the place the food, attention to detail, and ambiance was fantastic. He has since passed away. The recipe of the most amazing meat sauce has not changed but things have slipped a bit since then. The sauce thins out and ends up in a watery soup on the bottom of the bowl. I used to be offered a second round of bread with the meal- I don't any longer. Look, I can buy a box of spaghetti noodles and a bottle of sauce for $3 total. But I didn't mind paying the $12 for a plate of spaghetti because the sauce was that delicious! But, if my family is the only ones in the place and we are practically ignored by our waitress. And wasn't offered the grated parmesan cheese like we've received before by Charles (who I must say is one of the best waiters I've ever experienced) ...i gotta say it's not worth $50 anymore. Not consistent service or food quality. I love sitting by the window and watch people pass by while I eat...but I felt cheated like the waitress didn't want to give any effort for us. I loved capos 10 years ago. Not so much anymore. 2 stars.

The service was superb. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return. We highly recommend this restaurant 💯

I love Capos. I’ve been dining here since I was a teenager (we won’t say how old I am now) Although less people visit this place these days the food is tremendous! My favorites are the Chicken Danzini and the simple Rigatoni dish with meat and red sauce. I wish I had a pic to share!

By far the best Italian food you are going to get in New Mexico. I would highly recommend the lasagna as there Red sauce is to die for. Family owned and operated giving this place a familiar feel no matter if its you 10,000 visit or your very first. Thay make sure everyone feels welcome and will get to know you even if you will never be back because you are just visiting they might make it worth your while to come and visit our state every one in a while if only to stop in and feel up your belly with edible love. Don't say I never did nothing for you after recommending this gift from above.

We decided to try a new restaurant and thought this would be a good one with its "4 star" rating. My husband and I are giving it a "1 star" rating based on the quality of food and cleanliness of the waiter and facility. The salads were mediocre and slightly wilted. The waiter had to look at my wine glass to see if it was clean before he filled it. The waiter, with his dirty fingernails, hand held (with no gloves) a chunk of parmesan cheese as he grated it onto our entrees. Our entrees both tasted odd (wierd flavor) and the veal was tough and chewy like it had freezer burn. For a 20 dollar veal entree, we could have had a better meal at the AllSups gas station. Needless to say, we did not finish our meals for fear of food poisoning.
