A local foodie friend of mine recommended this place. Highly recommended. We went to the food cart/truck, where they basically serve one dish: chicken and rice. But they've perfected that dish. There is a reason that of all the many food carts there, this one by far had the longest line. The food may be simple, but it's cooked well, with great flavor and texture. The chicken and rice were perfectly moist and the sauces mixed perfectly with the dish. Oh, and the chicken is free-range (which actually means something in Portland), if you care about that sort of thing.

Huge portion and very delicious. Love their sauce and the service. Definitely be back again next time I go to Portland.

Okay I don't really know what it is about this chicken that makes it so addictive. The first time I tried it I wasn't too excited, visually it doesn't look that appetizing. It looks like plain old chicken and not much else. But honestly, it's not just plain old chicken. It's the most delicious chicken. It taste like comfort and happiness. And the sauce is so gingery and sweet. I don't live in Portland but this last trip I made a visit on two different occasions. I wish there was one in San Francisco :(

It’s awesome. Period. Super tasty food. The menu isn’t jam packed, but they have everything you need. Ask for the Thai chilis. Place is small and gets crowded but they are very fast with the food. Yum.

Came here off of a recommendation from someone who sat next to me at a restaurant. The line made this place seem super popular, as did the ratings. I was kind of disappointed when I saw what exactly I was getting. It was wrapping paper that opened up to a small bed of white rice and a boiled chicken breast cut into slices. The only flavor came from a sauce container. The sauce was flavorful but something I can buy easily in a jar and add on to food. The meal was tasteless if I didn't get enough sauce on one fork full. They also served it with some type of soup that didn't have much flavor and the soft cucumber was off-putting. It was definitely a healthy lunch choice, but was such good food all around, I won't be returning
