This is a fabulous place to come for quality Northwest Pacific sushi. Rather than trying to copy recipes that work elsewhere, Bamboo Sushi excels at creating interesting dishes from local seafood resources. Every one of their rolls has been outstanding in its own right, and their friendliness and customer service is excellent. If you go, I recommend trying to get a seat at the sushi bar. It enhances the experience, and allows you to give your orders directly to the sushi chefs. It's also a lot of fun to watch them make your order for you.

Get the green machine and the cauliflower. They're both amazing, even if you're not a vegetarian. The food is surprisingly good for a chain though it can be hard to get in. Luckily they let you leave your number and call you when you're table is ready so you can go down the street and grab a drink. It will always be a bit of a suburban crowd but the food is definitely worth it. Always solid.

Bamboo Sushi on 23rd is absolutely hands down the best place I've had sushi. The staff & sushi chefs are top notch, the drink & food are unbelievable & the atmosphere is great/romantic. If you haven't tried this place, I would suggest you put it on your list of places to experience. Bamboo is good for all occasions!! The Green Machine & the sticky buns are off the charts, as is everything on the menu. If you are looking for a place to wind down with great food & drinks...this is the place!!

Their Sushi is always the best, the quality of the fish is always impeccable. It's also normally very busy, and very loud inside. They recently changed their menu and got rid of a lot of options kinda sad they got rid of Philly rolls. They still have the Green Machine though. Be warned their "steam buns" are open faced.

Words cannot describe the one-of-a-kind service and experience my partner and I received here. From the hostess, to our amazing waitress Sarah, and even to the chef who made a custom sauce for us out of respect for our dietary choice, what a wonderful time. Sarah was friendly, upbeat, and so knowledgeable. She was like a magician, when we needed her she knew and would pop out of a time rift or something. She never asked us how the food was while it was in our mouths or in transit to The Mouth destination. We had such a blast and cannot express enough how awesome it was to be in the care of a server as passionate, friendly, bubbly, and uplifting as Sarah. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the incredible time!!!
