This is my new "go to" Thai food restaurant in Portland. The service was fast and VERY friendly. The food was absolutely delicious with heat that wasn't overbearing. The meat was juicy and tender, the spices were mixed just right. Recommended for Thai food for here on out.

Poor customer service! We ordered 3 chicken Pad Thai, and they brought us 1 with chicken and 2 with shrimps. When we told them that that's not what we ordered, they visibly got mad, didn't even apologize, and while taking away the dishes, broke one plate, leaving a bunch of sharp pieces of the plate on the table, and not cleaning it afterwards. After that I knew right away how they were going to fix the problem. You probably guessed it right! They picked out shrimps, added chicken and brought us back our now "Chicken" pad thai. Not going to dine in here ever again, especially with so many thai places around with an A+ customer service and much better tasting food!

I was looking for some spicy Thai food and found here at Red Onion. I ordered Tom Yum soup and Prik King green beans w/asparagus. Both were awesome, had great flavor and were spicy like I ordered. I was definitely sweating; just what I was looking for! All that and 2 Bridgestone IPA's for less than $30 before tip. I'll be back!

The food is great the waitresses not so much. I'm 15 and I came here a few friends and the waitress gave us room temperature water and meanwhile gave all the other guests ice water. I'm pissed

Came here because if the good reviews, but was a bit disappointed. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken. The chicken was not the best. It seemed like pre-cooked strips, similar to what you would get from a frozen TV dinner. That being said, the curry sauce tasted good, the service was friendly and quick, and prices were reasonable.
