We love this place. For my wife, a lot of gluten free options. Food is exceptional here. Prices are reasonable. One time we got take out, and discovered at home there was an error in our items, and one of the owners took care of it himself. We keep going back!

Food was delish. Waited awhile to get it. Maybe because we were such a large table. I wouldn't have minded the wait if they gave us a heads up that some dishes take longer to cook. Also since we did wait quite awhile some places would have thrown a free appetizer in there just to keep us happy. These guys didn't, too bad.

We were hoping for amazing after reading reviews and got less than what we wanted. Four of us booked for a valentines evening out. The food was not amazing, ok to lacking attention to detail and value. We asked for a nice table and they stuck the four of us in a corner when for our entire time at the restaurant there were two - 4 person tables by the window open until closing. The service lacked any attention and as we had just finished our mains and were talking the waiter shoved the bill onto our table without even asking if we wanted anything else. No follow-up on drinks, or how the food was ...no nothing. We all were so looking forward to going to Sula's as we heard so much. We eat out at a minimum once per week in Vancouver. There would be nothing compelling for us to return nor make a recommendation. Too bad.

Was pleasantly surprised by the lovely interior design. Sula's food is excellent, the prices are very affordable, and the portions are filling. It has quickly become my favourite Indian restaurant in Vancouver thus far and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend the onion ring appetizer (they actually look more like little onion blobs, but absolutely delicious). However, I doubt you could go wrong with any menu item. One of the dessert items didn't disclose that it had almonds on it, which should be changed to account for people with allergies.

Our go-to Indian takeout place. A little bit expensive compared to some but everything is delicious. The veggie pakoras are especially good.
