First time being at the mule. Went today with a group of friends. I ordered the sweet potato. Which was really good! And a good size. But most importantly I was really impressed by the service. Our waiter Brandon h. was amazing! He was so sweet so apologetic, and friendly. Unfortunately the sauce on the potato I was allergic to due to it not being listed. However, when I realized and asked, Brandon was so kind and concerning about it, right away got me another wasn’t rude or annoyed when doing so like some waiters can be! If it’s your first time at the mule and want good service, request him for sure! Because these days there aren’t many people pleasing waiters! I and our guests from out of country were delighted!

The Mule is always my go to restaurant, great atmosphere, staff and tacos. I'm writing this review today because we had fantastic service last Friday for my birthday. The mule accommodated our party of about 24 people (which they don't usually do unless you rent the back room ). A staff member had made the reservation I guess not knowing that but the Mule honoured it anyways and provided us excellent and timely service. They never disappoint us with their food and service, highly recommend! They also have really good brunch!

LOVE this restaurant! One of my favourites in Hamilton. Food is exceptional, can't wait to go back again. Some of the best calamari I've ever had, and the queso with chips was delicious. Had to wait about 35 minutes on a Saturday at 6pm for a table (quoted 45min). They do not take reservations for under 6 people. Seating is limited - tables are pretty close together. Service at my first visit was great. Second visit was nothing special in terms of service - waitress seemed disinterested.

GET THE BRUSSEL SPROUT TACO! This place is incredible! The tacos are warm and flavourful! The nachos are to die for! We sat in the "Patio" seating section and it was quite nice. They had a dedicated person working that section so we wouldn't be forgotten 😊. Overall, great food and good atmosphere!

Had dinner on a Wednesday night and the place was fairly busy but no wait for a table. Service was friendly and fast however the menu is EXTREMELY limited. Enjoyed the tacos, (fish, chicken and pork belly) however the fish taco had a very small piece of fish for the cost. The pork belly was good as was the chicken. These tacos however weren't anything that you couldn't find for around the same price at another Mexican restaurant. The Margarita i received tasted terrible and came in what looked like a child's tumbler with a few pieces of salt around the rim. The place and ambiance was very nice but the presentation is very lacking, the staff seem to wear what they want which is not a good look. For the value and experience i'd probably choose somewhere else next time only because there just isn't much of an edge for this place differentiate itself.
