So let me start this out by saying that I am NOT a vegan or vegetarian, but my best friend is and it was her birthday dinner. So a group of us (who are also not vegan) go for her. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Although I generally don't eat vegan food the appetizers were very tasty. We got the general Tso's cauliflower and yam fries. Both were great. Could have gotten full of of just that. Then I ordered the California scrambler which was also good. Even though it was not my first choice of food types it's good to know that I can eat vegan and still totally enjoy my meal. I would definitely go back!

The place was more like 3 1/2 stars but I am giving them 4 stars because: 1) appetizers were excellent. 2) the food was just okay. I have been to this restaurant when they were in Ann Arbor and I loved the food. I believe it might be just a one off day as it was a little slow at the restaurant.

Excellent food and service! Cool little spot in a great location. Loved the kale salad and the Kermit's Lagoon juice... after a week of carryout I felt the need for some greens, and this definitely did the trick.

Yum-o! I love it when they change up the menu- but everything is pretty good. Kinda secret location, but great place to meet friends! Drinks are on point, and it's a great atmosphere whether it's really busy or not. Delicious Detroit vegetarian addition. And the menu is still quite similar to the original Ann Arbor location 😁

Best vegan place ever. Location really sets the wonderful Detroit comeback. Definitely try the BEYOND BURGER.. best meatless burger ever.. I was skeptical, and it proved to be the best tasting sirloin burger I ever had, with not a cell of meat!!! Seriously I am not lying!!.
