Nothing Japanese about this restaurant... Absolutely horrible! Avoid at all cost! Place is a dump, service is uninspired and sushi looks like it was cut with a saw... Excessively thin sashimi yet sort of scrapped instead of cleanly cut with a sharp Japanese knife, fish is chewy and not fresh! The fried rice cake used for the sushi pizza had to be from the previous day... not warm and crispy but cold and dry! Worst Japanese restaurant ever! Did I say Japanese?!? Not a trace of an Asian person in this place... Forget Japanese!

Loved the service and the food. So of the best sushi that I have ever had. Don't forget that it is a bring your own alcohol establishment, so bring your favorite wine or microbrewery beer.

Great food and service. They were very understanding of us having our infant and stroller with us. The sushi was good although the shrimp tempura was a bit chewy.

You guys. This place is bananas. Do not visit. If the long wait for food doesn't do you in the sketchy hygienic practices of the staff will. Walking-in to a packed restaurant on weekend night, I was seated at the bar. I thought it was a treat getting to watch the chefs at work. Yikes! We were there for about 1 hours and 45 mins and she never changed her gloves. She did however cross contaminate her work space and wiped her knife on a dirty rag. Also scratched her head and touched her face a bunch. Again. Same gloves, Honestly, if a health inspector visited at any point during our visit that would have immediately shut the place down. The food wasn't good, the service was poor, the restaurant was cramped. In summary: Don't. Eat. Here.
