We just left dinner, and had an excellent time!! Our waiter Joey was the Best! We came in shortly before close and he was so patient and friendly. He took time to talk with us about the menu and food we should try! Would love to come back and have Joey as our server!!

I have visited many Rainforest Cafe's in my years. This may have been the weirdest experience to date. Everything was rushed and we never got drink refills. I dont know how fresh their food is supposed to be....but we got it within 5 minutes. Great timing, but they were literally dropping food faster than we could eat. The food was good....just would have liked to enjoy my time there instead of feeling like I was being pushed back out the door.

We came here for Easter lunch and made reservations online. We got there a little early and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. Our server was great but felt bad for him since there was sweat dripping down his face. Poor guy looked overworked and exhausted. Food was just okay, it could be better. Our kids really liked coming here because of all the animals and how beautifully decorated this place is. My reason for my 3 stars is that when we were there, we were seated next to two overly drunk women that were being quite obnoxious the whole time we were there. I could tell our table wasn't the only one that felt uncomfortable. They were actually climbing on top of some of the animal exhibits and taking pictures. If you can't even touch the animals, what makes it okay to climb all over them?? I just wish the staff would have stepped in, because it looked really trashy.

Terrible experience! It is tempting to take your kids here but don't waste your time. I seriously think most of the positive reviews are fake so take good reviews with a grain of salt. I could write out a lengthy explanation why this place is a waste of your time but instead here is a shortened story. Reservations were for 6PM and we didn't get a table until 6:45 and that was after being told numerous times it would only be another 5-10 minutes and finally getting a manager involved. Once seated service was terribly slow. Several tables by us who were seated after us got their food long before us. And the food itself is not worth the cost, even for a downtown restaurant. We came to the conclusion that employees are trained to lie to customers to keep them pacified. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to waste your time and money.

I came here on a field trip to Chicago and the museum of science, we had the buffet where they served us random foods. It was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. Maybe because I didn't have to pay for it. Anyways it was good, and I plan to probably come here in the future when I have my own job and try other things!
