One of the best poboys I've had! Fried chicken breast. The bread was perfect. Chicken was delicious. What a great sandwich! My husband had red beans and rice. Also delicious. Service was exceptionally friendly. Don't overlook this if you're in the neighborhood!

Like a walk back in time to the 40s. Simple but good food, inexpensive, nice staff. What more can you ask for. Very cool how you literally walk through the fry cook working to get to the bathroom.

This is a small restaurant on St. Charles Ave. that would be easy to miss. What you would be missing is some good home-style cooking. We came for breakfast and it was a feast. Slow cooked grits, crisp bacon, tasty pancakes and more. Hey, the place could use a makeover, but it had warm, comfy, friendly feel to it. Very friendly staff.

Great little neighborhood joint, very simple but has been here for 49 years apparently. Super friendly staff, and I enjoyed a delicious sweet tea and gumbo after I stopped in while walking by.

Great food. Friendly staff. Family owned. A true diamond in the rough. If you come to New Orleans you have to check this place out!
