Mr. & Mrs.

Stephen completed an en-suite renovation for us in 2018 and was a skilled tiler. He was very flexible and patient with our various delays, and made us feel at ease. Stephen became a member of our family during the renovation and had many ideas of how we could reduce our costs.

Following my previous comment Stephen has contacted me. We had a long conversation prompting this entry. At the time of my contract with Stephen all contractors in Powell River were very busy; Stephen, also very busy, was also dealing with significant personal issues. During the period of our large contract his company was pushed by a commercial contract under time constraint. His lead installers who were initially destined to attend our new home to install tile and granite in multiple locations were subsequently sent to the commercial contract while we were placed on the back burner. Stephen has acknowledged the issues, apologized and offered to do whatever can be done to correct our issues. In the final analysis, it is what it is, and I am satisfied that his integrity so many years later is no longer compromised. I am sure his work and ethics are intact after our conversation.

Stephen was very professional and completed our bathroom in a timely matter even though he had other clients jobs he was working on. He knew that we needed the bathroom in order for our brother to visit and then move in, so he didnt want us waiting months so he worked longer and harder. His service and work is exceptional and excellent. He also has his own plumber Rob Bryce which works along him so you only deal with two people and they are very professional and respectful and always on time and works for you and around you very professionally. The bathroom is amazing and works perfectly and Stephen came back to finish the grab bars so they were in place for our brother so it fitted him well. We have had no problems or interruptions with the bathroom at all. We love the service and installation of the bathroom. We love dealing with Stephen and Rob. Any remodeling you need I highly recommend TILE BY STEPHEN CANTRYN!!!

We recently had Steve install beautiful new quartz counter tops in our kitchen and he did a great job. He was a great communicator as to the timelines and was on time and on budget. Steve personally did the work and obviously has years of experience in his trade.
