DO NOT HIRE

We bought a 6 year old house with water damage in the basement, we called our insurance company and they ended up sending True North Flooring over to install new flooring in our basement and the steps, 3 days before they came to install the flooring the entire basement got a fresh coat of paint on all the walls and every nick and hole was patched and fixed, firat thing this company did qhen they gothere was decide to cut the flooring in the basement of the house leaving our brand new walls compleatly coverd with black dust. Then they thought it was a good idea to put there handa all over the walls leaving blacl hand prints on every single wall. After that one of the workers went to thw bathroom wich was compleatly renovated earlyer that week. And lastly they made about 4 holes in the newly painted walls. When they left they didnt clean up or mention the holes they made. Our insurance company had to send a cleaning lady to clean up after them. They are unprofessional. Dont hire.

Had an estimate done for flooring that included 7 bags of leveling compound because of structural issues with the house. Our previous floor was installed level. True north came to install a new floor, didn't use any of the leveling compound and our floors are very uneven. Called the company to come out and take a look. They couldn't have cared less and said there's nothing they could have done (except use the leveling compound, clearly!!!!). They agreed they could redo a part of the floor, but because by now the cabinets had been installed they wouldn't remove them and it could end up looking worse. I can't get an answer for why they didn't attempt to level the subfloor first, and basically have been told to deal with it. Super disappointed in the entire process. Although the lady who helped us in the store was lovely, and very helpful.

The staff member was very helpful in selecting products and explaining the interactions between the quote we received from our insurance company and possible changes in flooring selection we wanted to make. She was also very apt in helping is select products to match with our needs and desires look.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Two years ago now my salon in the south end had water damage. We used this company though our insurance to install the new floors, on the first day that they installed it my husband had to help them. It was installed crooked and needed to be taken out and reinstalled. Then the base boards came. We asked for the same color a light brown beige color. They sent a light blue grey color. They did give us the correct color. Last year less than a year after the install the floor is heaving at the edge. I called them, they came down to see it a month later. Said they would be in touch to trim some of the boards.........and nothing no one called or has come down. I’m Very disappointed.

I walk in and the female at the desk gives me attitude even before I had a chance to ask about the products. I left and went to bill knight and got treated like a person. they got my job 30,000 to fix my house.
