Giant Carpet One Floor and Home has gone above and beyond what I would expect from any retail establishment. We spent a large amount of money to have new carpet and wood flooring installed in our home. Scott was very helpful and took the time to understand our needs and pointed us in the right direction. Scott spent a significant amount of time with us from the selection process, measuring, ordering, and follow up after the installation was complete. There were a few issues with the carpet but Scott handled them quickly and made sure we were happy with the final outcome. The installers that were sent out for both the hardwood and carpet were very professional and courteous. I will be using Giant Carpet One in Sugarhouse again. Great prices and Excellent service/install.

We had a very disappointing experience with Carpet One and I would not recommend them or use them again in the future. We decided to use their company because they assured us our job would be completed on Saturday, the day before we were supposed to move into our new house and no one showed up. The movers had to move all of our belongings into the garage and we couldn’t move in as scheduled. They did not offer to put us up in a hotel. Luckily we have family in the area who have room for us to stay. Then the carpet was installed with flaws. It took about a month of phone calls and frustration before the carpet installation was done correctly. They barely provided us any compensation for hours of time and frustration.

Don't do business here! I am so disappointed I did not check reviews before getting tangled up with Carpet One. Like too many others here we're having a terrible experience. The carpet they installed doesn't match, there are five very visible seams in my great room and an area that wasn't even done -- sub-floor showing; Scott has been unhelpful and rude. Nothing is his responsibility -- its a manufacturer's problem, its the installers fault. Dang. Scott sold us the carpet, obviously did not take the time to check the quality before it was brought to my house, and installed! He outright lied: said the replacement would be just about two weeks, now he tells me he cannot guarantee when the job will complete. I feel so stupid for getting myself in this position, give the abundance of information available here in the reviews. I'm turning to the Better Business Bureau and Get Gephart. This guy and this place should not be allowed to do this to people and collect payments.

The service was great. Scott has helped me twice so far in both carpet and hardwood. The installers were very professional and did a great job. This was an install in a condo and they were very respectful of all of the HOA's rules. I couldn't be happier!

After coming out and doing a horrible install. They were contacted and explained what a poor job they did. Ended up speaking with Scott. He was extremely rude an disrespectful. Even going as far as accusing us if bigotry! Didn't know that 60+ year old woman asking her installers what their names are was considered being a racist. After 4 more lovely visits and several phone calls with this company. They had someone come back and get it right. I would highly recommend anyone going to somewhere else. The manager Scott needs more training on customer service! Definitely not worth the hassle and time wasted with them.
