A big thanks to Roy in the garden center. Extremely cheerful, friendly and helpful from what I witnessed the two times my wife and I stopped in this past Saturday and Sunday. It is a rare find, especially given the extraordinary heat wave. Roy deserves a raise in pay at the very least. He made our sour mood so much better after being turned down by customer service to make a snack purchase, which happens to be right at the customer counter? The two ladies that I believe were the same as on Saturday and which seemed more eager to help at that time when we bought several items, were busy, yet the one told us that we would be better off going to the garden center to ring this up. Nobody wants to go and stand in line again. For the busy weekend, a third or maybe a fourth person could've or should've been working the counter as the only other option is self checkout or all the way down to the lumber, which may have a check out? People like myself with chronic pain problems can't stand in one spot long or walk endlessly with hope for a possible cashier. We all know it was so blessed hot and customer's like myself get crabby, yet what a shining example as demonstrated by Roy, who again was out with his co-workers in the intense heat with a smile and joy in his heart. Brooklyn center home depot is the best home depot. Every time I go there I always have a great customer service. I like to do things around the house, this time i want to paint my house, inside and outside, I don't have too much ideas about painting, so Cynthia actually took her time and help me find the right paint. What for outside and what for inside. Thanks Cynthia.

Ivy helped me checkout at the self checkout because I had a lot of bigger items in my cart. Great customer service, friendly, offered me a way to save with their Home Depot card. She asked me if I knew about the survey on the bottom of the receipt, which I said no. Normally I hate taking surveys but because of her service I tried. When I went to log in with the user ID and password on the bottom of the receipt, it said that the user ID had already been used. So i figured I would put a good word in on here.

Home Depot almost always has the tool, part , or lumber that I need at the price I can pay. As a Veteran I greatly appreciate military discount. I have and will continue to recommend Home Depot to family and friends.

I had to ask for assistance loading my car TWICE and no one came. I bought 9 boxes of 60lb tile along with some other items and am very disappointed with the lack of customer service at this location. Don’t get me wrong, everyone is nice-if you can find someone actually working. I had to search for someone in the flooring department and another customer ended up taking pity on me and helped me search for the elusive employees. I need to get 400+ square feet of carpet and stuff for several other remodeling projects that I was going to buy from Home Depot but you lost my business.
