Great Job

Brought my 98 Silverado in with a very bad transmission, they took care of me right away, the job took exactly how they they quoted and the job was finished almost 200 bux under the price quoted. One of the new transmission parts failed the next day, it turned out to be a freak factory flaw. Kelowna Transmission got me in the next day, they worked overtime to get my back on the road and honoured their warranty without question. Honestly like this is hard to find . I will call these guys first for all my Auto needs . Well done Kelowna Transmission! I’m very happy with my rebuild.

Fixed my transmission, was told by another shop I would need a complete rebuild, they diagnosed it properly and I only needed 2 solenoids

We were on vacation in Kelowna and experienced a problem with our truck. The transmission was overheating. Ivar and his team, at Kelowna Transmission & Auto Repair were the only shop who took the time to take her in and check her out even they had a very busy day. It was the best and friendliest service experience we had in a long time and highly recommend to go and see them whenever you have problems with your car or truck.

Labor costs are through the roof, they did work without double checking with us first, when questioned about it and given comparable prices for labour they had nothing to say. We were forced to pay $200 just for an oil filter change and a top up of fluids that we could have done ourselves, ridiculously exorbitant pricing on labour without checking with the customer first or providing a written quote.

So much for helping people in trouble, visiting from out of province, needing some help with our truck to get home, was told it would be at least a week before he could look at it. Thanks but pass, I will find somewhere that understands customer service and helping those in need.

I was on vacation last summer with my family. We thought we were experiencing transmission problems. We came here as a friend referred us. I walked in the office and was told they were busy for two weeks. I explained we were on vacation and my car was on a road test within minutes. It turned out to be a timing issue with the car and nothing to do with the transmission. Since we were out of town and kind of in a desperate situation, our car was in and out within a couple of hours!!! I have experienced other shops in my life where they would have held me ransom and doubled charge. Kelowna Transmission not only got our car in that second, the repair costs were more than reasonable. It is so nice to know that there are honest people out there. I would recommend this shop to anyone!!
