I recently brought my car in to have my radio repaired and have a general inspection performed in preparation for a road trip. It turns out my car was overdue for many maintenance services most notably the timing belt and radiator hoses. This wasn't a huge shock considering my car had well over 150,000 miles on it and was making a squealing noise every time I turned it on. The service from Mike , Linda and their staff were top notch. Mike was patient and thorough in answering every question I had. On pick-up he even saved my old timing belt and radiator hoses and showed me exactly what and where the issues were. The repair costs were fair and reasonable for what I was having done. The shuttle service to and from my home was a nice touch as well. Overall I found this shop to be trustworthy, skilled and passionate about the services they provide. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the STL area.

***Beware this business might be a scam***. I took my car there to have the brakes changed. It should be noted that at the time my car was functioning well, it was just making the normal noise one would expect bad breaks to make. So, I took my car to have the breaks pads changed. A day or two after the repair, my car started making cracking, popping, and rattling sounds from the right wheel that was maintenanced. Shortly thereafter, I called and took my car back to Advanced Auto to have the noise looked at and fixed. So, they repaired the rotor and said it was all good. No later then on my way home from the shop, my car went back to doing the same cracking, and popping it had done previously, but now a rubbing sound was starting to kick in. So same situation, I called and then was instructed to bring in back for an additional review. They then ordered up numerous parts for the wheel costing well over $400 (mind you, my car was working well in the beginning, all I needed them to do was change my break pads. Advanced Auto is the direct cause of this unhealthy sound and probably unsafe condition my car is in). I bet you can guess what happened after they got it "all fixed up for me?" yep, my car's still cracking and popping louder than ever before. I would highly recommend not going here because one, it's either a scam or two, they're incredibly incompetent. either way I wouldn't go.

Came here to get my brakes replaced. They are husband and wife and very nice and considerate people. I came in thinking I needed all four brakes done and Mike was honest with me and told me just the front ones need replacing. His wife Linda came in a bit after me with some of Gus pretzels and right away offer me one! They also went in the back to find me a coupon without even asking for one! And brought me out a phone charger! I have been having trouble finding a shop that will be honest and take good care of my car and my search is over! I would recommend to anyone who needs work done to their car. 👏🏼 Good work advanced auto service! You deserve the 5 stars!

I have gotten my inspections done here for a few years now and they are always honest and upfront about anything that needs to be done. Mike and Linda are amazing owners and always keep the customers first. Their mechanics are great at what they do and quick to get your car back to you so you don’t have to go without. They also will shuttle you if need be! Favorite shop!

Quick turn around time, excellent service. Brian did an excellent job explaining why I needed to replace my tires, was pleasant to work with and transparent. I utilized their early drop off service which was very convenient, leave your keys and go. Also their shuttle service was excellent and allowed me to not take any extra time off of work. Take your car here and you won't be disappointed!
