Visited the shop recently and was thoroughly impressed with not only the facility but with the owners and their management policies. Great waiting room and exceptionally clean - organized shop.

Brought our truck in to diagnose an oil leak. Ended up needing new heads. was told the oil leak would get fixed along with the new heads. weeks later we get the truck back and it was out of gas, with gouge in bumper, blemishes from them standing on bumper and filthy dirty AAAAAND still leaks oil. We spent about $thousands and they didn't even wipe down the motor to diagnose oil leak properly. I have pics of the engine before and after and i still cant believe they didn't wipe the engine off! I was told by Mark that they don't get paid to wipe down the engine nor do they get paid to wash it!! They wanted another $1800 to fix the oil leak! The owner never called me back to resolve the issue, this place is an absolute joke!

Air horn install: Dave – owner Tom – srvc mngr, & Mark – installer – Review: Great work ! – only 2 issues : 1. – the Time & $ - [spent to try to make it right] – you did orig’ly quote only ‘1-3 hrs’ ! – - So what good is an est., if it’s not accurate??! – - If est given is for 2-3 hrs; but ends up being 6 hrs.. then should u only pay for ½ of the add’l hrs?.. only sounds fair ! - ..otherwise it’s the ol’ ‘bait & Switch’ routine [bait: 2-3 hrs, swith:to 5-6hrs].. in which case, what good is an est.?! - [u could just ‘drag ur feet.. to run up cost]?! - before we began, I asked u, as ur the experts, u said 1 hr, then when showed u in person what had to be done, u said 2-3hrs.. what good is that, if u go over that to 6 hrs?!.. [..but only pd for 5 hrs] - $500 – install labor – [ 5 hrs .. – 1 hr wwas orig’ly what I was told – which is of course, reasonable!] - 2. – Parts – before we began, I asked u, as ur the experts, if u should get the parts, & U told me to get them.. but my parts ended up costing me more time to install & Ur installer said that ur parts might’ve been better.. but u (Tom) didn’t even ask /ck w/ ur installer (Mark) ! - [but ur parts might’ve cost more; and my parts [= the assembly kit recommended/designed for my horn, per the seller, per the specs, fittings, etc.] BOTTOM LINE : I guess what I pd MAY be normal $ of horn (?) : $75 – horn [trumpets] $300 – intall kit parts $500 – install labor – [ 5 hrs .. – 1 hr wwas orig’ly what I was told – which is of course, reasonable!] = $ 875 – Total ..! ( Time Est. at another installer = 4-5 hrs.] ..= ~ $900 – for a horn ..!! ..[that’s a lot of $ to invest for a horn ..!!]

Not completely happy with this place. The owner was real nice, and the mechanic seemed real helpful. They had my truck for a while, and when I got it back they charged me well over $1000 for fluids only- never gave me a quote before. Thought that was very high, but figured they seemed like they did a great job and you have to pay for quality sometimes so that in itself didn't have me too concerned. They told me there were a few other service items needed. I had to go haul something and the service items were small (like a steering knuckle boot) so I asked for a quote and they said they were busy but would get me one later. I ended up contacting them again later asking for a quote for the repairs and again, they said they didn't have a chance to get me a quote yet. They were moving to a new location, but I didn't think asking for a quote was extreme. It has been several months and I still have not received the quote. That ended up seeming odd that they were so "nice" and quick to give me service without quoting me, but when I asked for a quote for the services they don't seem to produce it after asking muiltiple times? That made me really question the prices they charged me for the fluids. I contacted another diesel shop in the area and they told me in not so nice terms that I was overcharged. When I went in to the other shop to get my next oil change, I also asked them to look for the torn boots and knuckle that Impact Fleet had told me about over the phone, and they called me up and said, "There are no torn boots- it looks perfect under here". I fully understand there can be a difference of opinion on wear condition however, so I only mention that due to the other aspects that were slightly off. Impact Fleet came recommended to me, so maybe they just are so busy with lots of high paying customers that they don't want me and don't have time for me, but they seemed like a great shop I was looking forward to giving my business to. However, it was enough to really frustrate me and make me wary about the place, despite how nice and helpful the owner and the mechanic seemed. I'll just recommend anyone that goes there get a quote before they have service done. I did receive a phone call from Impact Fleet after posting my initial review. They apologized and promised to send me the quote with the work needed. Never did hear from them.
