BEWARE! After working here for over a year, moving our family out of state and then back to KC *for them*, being on call 24 hours/6 days a week and never missing a call, my husband has been screwed over in every way possible by these people. Let’s start with #1 They took months to figure out our direct deposit, so after moving states we were waiting days on end for checks to show up- they would mail them late and when he’d call worried, Reno told him to “manage his money better”. #2 Owner, Scott, agreed to 5 days of vacation at 90 days. Months later he used the PTO for the birth of our son, and they said it was a miscommunication, didn’t pay it until he fought it (leaving us with a week without pay right after having a baby) then grouped it with another paycheck so it was taxed to death. #3 They agreed to pay for our moving truck on the first move, then decided it was too expensive and started taking $20 out of every paycheck until he noticed. Then wouldn’t pay for the $570+ moving truck on the way back to KC. #4 They gave him an ultimatum to move our family of 4 back in 2 weeks, making us cut our lease two months short and lose our deposit, then never paid for any of it like they agreed to- $1,500+ (Brian in the office, ended up paying us his own money, company still hasn’t paid him back). #5 Owner, Tyler, agreed to same minimum pay when we moved back and a $400 bonus for finding his replacement in the other state. Once we had moved, took away minimum and denied the bonus. Said he would get plenty of hours, but he never got more than 36. #6 Offered him a different position, Owner of the company Carl, and shop manager Rick shook on same pay and a start time, then called back 10 minutes later and offered $8 an hour less. #7 He instantly found a different job, put his two weeks in and they told him to bring the truck in, leaving us with 2 weeks of no pay right before Christmas, with 2 small kids to worry about, having just spent thousands to move back in town. *Topped it all off by sending a list of hundreds of dollars worth of receipts claiming he hadn’t turned them in, hoping he wouldn’t find them so they could deduct money from his final pay.* He found them. 2 weeks later, no check at all, he called and found out they still deducted about $500 for the “missing receipts”, so he had to prove the receipts again in person and a week later we are still waiting for the rest of our money.

Locked up my front differential on a Friday morning. Had me going by Tuesday with a reman. They were adamant that input seal on rear diff should be changed as well. Also all ujoints. Seemed like they were doing things right until i paid for it and left. Made it to st. Joe and saw new diff leaking oil all over. For some reason they didn't change the output seal even though it was leaking badly and the yoke was loose. I had to stop twice on the way home to add over a gallon of oil. Was worried the whole way I was going to ruin my new $6k rear end. Ordered part when i got home and we fixed it right in my shop. Also noticed none of the 4 new ujoints they put in were greased. Would have gladly paid a little more to know it was done right. Shouldn't have to tear it apart again. Nice people. Just too bad they didn't finish the job.

This place is the best place I’ve worked in the 7 1/2 Years i been a mechanic, I’ve only been here maybe 3 months and I can already tell this is where I want to be, they treat you fair as long as you follow directions as what you are told from orientation. Dispach is always nice and respectful and will always call and get you some hours to make some money and if your to tired they understand very nice and friendly staff! I enjoy my employment highly at inter stand and plan on continuing my efforts here as long as they will keep me in my books as a tech that works with dispach daily with calls I give this company 50 stars !!

If you need assistance on a problem- ask for Grayson. He took time to look into a billing issue when others seemed to brush it off. Tried to solve the billing issue on a Wednesday, took till Friday to get someone to handle it. The service provided was adequate- but if your running a company, having a strong office staff is encouraged (it’s a 2 part equation.)
