Wow. Open Saturday of memorial day weekend and hand my Yanmar exhaust elbow in stock and gasket. I was expecting to have to mail order it and wait for shipping next week. Got my part. 30 minutes later and I'm back out on the water for Memorial day. Thank you.

They always have the parts I need and will give advice. Some parts like oil filters aren't even that expensive. Bay Shore is located at Bert Jabin's Boat Yard with parking at the front door. They offer mobile repair services for Yanmar, Westerbeke, Mercruiser, Volvo Penta and other brands.

Experts sometimes with extra ego noticed

A few years ago my wife and I purchased a older boat with Yanmar Diesel's. Jeff performed the mechanical survey prior to our purchase. We could tell right away that we had made the right choice. At the end of the very long day ( We got our money's worth) Jeff provided a comprehensive list of repairs and service needed. Over that winter Sean his service manager and his crew made all the repairs on budget and on time. We have put about 130 hours on the boat sense then and haven't had any issues. These guys know what they are doing. What propted me to write this review is there commiment to there customers. I had pulled the boat a few days ago to repair a damaged trim tab, and paint the bottom. I found that the shaft behind the strut was shinny on one side. I assumed this was a big issue. After inspecting the strut, coupler and everything I could think of, I called Jeff. He didn't have a tech available that could make the trip from Annapolis to DC before we were scheduled to leave on a 10 day Cruse. He asked me to send him pictures so we could discuss possible causes. The next day he sent me a email. (This is the good part) he said he didn't see any issues and suspected that I had picked up a line that had caused the shinny spot behind the strut. I was amazed, there is no way he could have known that I had let my bow line get loose and wrapped around the shaft a few weeks earlier. I had forgotten and of course I didn't tell anyone.(amateur boater move) these guys are the best and maybe a little psychic.
