This shop is taking advantage of my widowed mother. He initially replaced a motor (which took much longer than it should have) and it ran well until a quick lube shop forgot to ad the oil. When she paid him to replace the blown motor with a rebuilt he installed a junk yard motor (or left hers in and tried to rebuild it, not sure yet which happened). He also sold her a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty with no contract (not worth the paper he wrote the words on if it went to court). 4 months after the last mentioned engine replacement or rebuild the vehicle went back to the shop for warranty repair because another mechanic warned her it was ready to blow any time. That was about two months ago and she does not have it back yet. Every time she has taken it in it takes months to get it back. Others are writing similar reviews. STAY away from this shop.

I paid for a new engine. After 1.5 years of excuses I had it towed to another mechanic. My blown engine was still in the vehicle. Josh is the owner and lied to me the whole time. He made up stories that he was driving my car and it ran so well. Just before I had it towed he said he could not get the engine to talk to the computer and I was basicly SOL. My vehicle had some missing parts and a broken driver mirror. Josh told me he had cancer in his groin area that is why he was gone so much. I read another review and he had said his daughter had cancer, and she did not. I had to buy another vehicle and I am in the process of going through small claims. DO NOT GO HERE! Nice 2002 explorer with blown engine

Do not trust this shop! My elderly mother needed to have her engine rebuilt, and Josh agreed to it and gave her a timeline. As the project dragged out for weeks beyond the promised deadline, with Mom using borrowed cars, she tried to contact Josh but he seemed to never be around. When my brother and I drove from Grants Pass to talk to him, then he decided to show up. He told us that his daughter had cancer and was in Doernbeckers in Portland, so he had been out of town a lot. He told us about an experimental treatment they were going to try as a last-ditch hope for her survival. He cried. We cried. We prayed for him. My mom took him home-cooked meals. He finally finished her van and we picked it up, but a few days later the exact same terrible noises returned. She took the van to other mechanics and they confirmed that the engine had not been replaced as Josh had stated, and which is what she was paying for. And the cancer story? It was all a lie. Mom later ran into some of his relatives, and they had NO CLUE what he was talking about. He had no family history with cancer, and his daughter had never had cancer. So Mom went back and confronted him. He now has her van again, but he needs to pay for it this time, and he needs to do it right. And yet the job is again stretching out for weeks. He (once again) promised to deliver the van on a specific date,, but it never showed up. It has now been over two months since she turned her van over to him for him to make it right, but he continually makes up new and lame excuses. Josh tells a great story, and as long as he's on your side he seems to be a skilled mechanic. But the horror story of lies, shoddy work, and flat-out manipulation that my mom has experienced is beyond the pale. My hope is that word of his dishonesty will spread through the small Coastal communities, so that he will either be forced to change, or to close down. Our actions have consequences.

TERRIBLE SHOP! Don't waste your time or money with these young guys. They B.S'd me on the completion time, 3 times! When it was finally "ready" the owner explained how 'easy' it was for me to finish the work! Unbelievable! I still have to find another mechanic now. Worst SHOP I've ever been to. AVOID AT ALL COST, NOT WORTH THE RISK. These guys shoulnt be allowed to do business.
