The sales person Sarah was friendly. However the installers were a real problem. The supervisor Jason was extremely rude yelling at me in my own home and refusing to answer questions. The other two men were pleasant but put the back splash in wrong causing an unsightly seam. The silicone along the wall was all over the quartz. I was told the silicone was paintwork but it is not. The opening for the range was also uneven. When I wrote the store about these issues I never even received a response.

Do not use this company for anything

Please do not use Stone Source for any sort of project. Look at their Yelp reviews for an accurate representation of their customer service as they take down their negative Google reviews. We hired them to install new countertops and a backsplash for our kitchen. The countertop install only resulted in minor damages that we discovered afterwards. The backsplash install resulted in the following issues: • Scraped cabinets around the sink, stove and microwave • 19 of the 21 cabinets had silicone staining due to their careless installation (an older guy who apparently had experience in installing backsplashes and a high school kid who had no experience) • Sunk wall outlets - they did not remove the outlets prior to the install so the plugs were 3 cm deep into our wall • Stained our new granite island countertop with silicon - permanently damaging the sealant and cannot be fixed • Backsplash was measured incorrectly, resulting in the right side slanting downwards and thick beams of si

Incredible showroom with an impressive selection of in stock exotic stone slabs from around the world! The stone I bought was a quartzite from Brazil. It was so much fun picking it out and was priced reasonably. I worked with Liz and she was always available to answer my questions, especially when it came to design ideas for my kitchen project. The whole process was a great experience and strongly recommend them. Also a shout out to everyone that measured, cut and installed the counters, they are beautiful! Everyone that sees them loves them, even my electrician and he is hard one to impress.

Stone Source is a wonderful company....great employees who are knowledgeable, VERY helpful in stone selections based upon specific needs and price point, experienced in measure and layouts, and installers who do a supreme job as well as clean up. Because of these consistencies I, a designer/remodeler, have chosen Stone Source as MY SOURCE for all my projects for years. Matt in sales addresses every detail to my satisfaction. Sergey is precise in measure and craftsmanship in his layouts. Ryan did the install at my project yesterday and devoted time and knowledge, educating my clients to the care of their stone, as well as meticulous clean up. I am so appreciative of every member of Stone Source's team for making my project a success.

We couldn’t be happier with our new marble countertops. Sarah was so helpful in the selection process as well as coordinating the install. On top of that, they have a very nice and personable installation crew that provided good quality information along the way, including how to properly care for our new countertops. Would highly recommend Stone Source!

Stone Source in Plymouth MN had a good selection of granite and quartzite slabs, but their installation was terrible. If you buy slabs from them, I highly recommend you have someone else do the fabrication and install. Stone Source did extensive damage to our custom cabinets when they installed the island countertop (over $1,000 in damage) and will not pay for the damage because according to my salesperson, "In the signed contract, it states that Stone Source is not liable for damage to cabinets as it is a construction site and you are acting as your own general contractor. I spoke with the team and unfortunately Stone Source cannot cover the charges." The contract said "Care will be exercised during installation & removal of counters; however scrapes, punctures, or digs to wall surfaces are possible, as are scratches & scrapes to cabinetry & appliances, and construction dust. These are considered incidental damages & are the customer's responsibility to repair." I saw this in the contract prior to install and asked my salesperson about this and she said not to worry about it because they never damage the counters. I think over $1,000 in cabinet damage is more than incidental and very unprofessional! They did not take any ownership for the damage they caused. I did have a separate general contractor so don't really understand their response and what that has to do with Stone Source damaging the cabinets. In addition, they had to come out 3 times (so far) to fix the seam where the pieces of quartzite meet. The silicone, or whatever they use, keeps coming out and leaving a hole between the pieces. I now have a nice big ugly seam. On top of all of this, when they installed the countertops, they dripped the sealant down one of the cabinets and had no solution for getting the drip stains off. I do NOT recommend them!!!!

We recently decided to update our countertops and after a few weeks of searching company and the material, we found Stone Source and the PERFECT stone, Bescato Silk, for our countertops. Jess and team were amazing and VERY helpful through the whole process. The installation team was very professional and did an amazing job. While we don't have any other projects planned at this time, we will defiantly use Stone Source again. 100% recommend ... I wish I was a better photographer, as these pictures do NOT do the amazingly beautiful countertops justice...
