Vue Windows will not deliver as promised!

Dennis Walker owner of Vue Windows means well but he won't deliver as promised. Expect unreasonable delays with on-going excuses. I strongly urge that you don't provide a downpayment or you will likely never see your money again. I speak from personal experience with Vue Windows after a two year delay with still nothing to show for. My recommendation...hire someone else who can respect deadlines and deliver in accordance with your window contract. I hope this posting will help others to avoid the hardship I am going through

0/10 STARS! VUE WINDOWS WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER DELIVER! Dennis Walker and his company took a 4000$ of deposit from me back in October 2022 and still have not delivered anything to this day. After taking my money he never once picked up my phone calls and only answers by text sporadically with excuses and lies with no proof to back up anything he says. I’ve asked him to refund me my deposit several times and he refuses. For the last year he claims to have ordered my windows and that they are sitting in a warehouse but has never given me any proof that this is true. I’ve asked multiple times for documentation (invoice, proof of order, packing slip…) and always responds with vague excuses and tells me he will deliver soon. I've also tried to pick them up myself multiple times from his warehouse/supplier and pay the difference with no luck. He uses 2 different company names on his invoice. I've called both of them to find out what was going on. One company (based in Woodbridge

Vue Windows did an excellent work the first time (2 years ago) that we hired them again recently. The first time they replaced 4 windows, 2 smaller ones in bathrooms and 2 larger ones in bedrooms. The following year we hired them again to replace a large window in the kitchen and a very large picture window in the dining room. They honoured the schedule for both coming to do the estimate and to install the windows. The price quoted was exactly what we paid. Employees were courteous and very helpful in helping us to select the windows. The work was excellent quality and they were very clean, if it had not been for the new windows I would not have known they had been there.

Would never recommend Dennis or his product. His customer service was absolutely atrocious. He unfortunately gained my business by edging out the competitors cost, but I highly regret not paying the extra. When installation date came (two months after planned) he no showed 5 scheduled days with no advance notice. He was given tons of grace and when finally pushed, he took one full week to install 6 windows that were not the original ordered windows. Windows are junk and thankfully he forgot half my order as I was able to take my business elsewhere.

Dennis Walker and his company, Vue Windows, are highly recommended by myself and my wife. They installed a very professionally built arts and crafts style sun room for us recently and we are thoroughly impressed with it and its build quality and style features and attractiveness. We have had many complements on it by others. Dennis Walker and Vue Windows have also been used to install a very architecturally challenging front entrance door on which we also have had many complements. Dennis Walker and Vue Windows will also be installing additional windows and doors for us, because we are so impressed with their professionalism, craftsman skills, knowledge, and willingness to ensure their clients are satisfied with their work. We are so impressed with them and their work that we are having Dennis Walker and Vue Windows redesign and install a new kitchen and master bathroom for us in the near future.

I have tried and given this company the opportunity three different times to make a positive impression on my business partner and i and their service they provide. The first time brought along 4 + weeks of delays of getting windows installed, a window missing and being made on site, and doors being last minute organized. We used them on a second property which seemed to go a bit better. However, we have now used them on our third property and could not be more dissatisfied. This is our third project with them, and you would think that they would see value in working with us as we do 7 plus properties a year requiring over $10,000.00 in windows on each, and also work with builders and real estate investors to whom we refer tradesmen to all the time. The owner of the company even had the guts to call me prior to my windows even being delivered to ask if I could lend him $15,000.00. We were told our windows had been shipped two weeks ago. We have yet to receive an actual phone call from them to indicate a date for installation, our deadline is now approaching and 3 days away, and the owner is now cancelling my phone calls. I have also spoken to two other individuals who have met him through me, where he hasn't even bothered to return their phone calls. Horrible service. Unreliable. Very disorganized, and clearly financially very unstable.

Dennis at Vue Windows is very generous with his time and guidance. He helped us with the windows and doors for our project - a new build infill house - from conception through to finished installation. He was patient through all of the numerous changes that we made in specifications and made helpful suggestions. The Inline fibreglass windows that he supplied appear to be an excellent product at a reasonable cost. (Inline held the record for the most energy efficient window in the country.) Dennis coordinated the delivery of the windows with other orders in order to minimize the cost. The installation was quick and effortless with enough strong guys on site to lift the larger windows. Factory representatives visited the site. We paid half of the total invoice upon submission of the order to the factory and half upon delivery. There was a two month delay between the order and the delivery. (These were custom windows.) One window came with a bad low e-coating. This is a factory error to be corrected under warranty. Other than that all windows and doors were delivered as specified. Overall the service was not fast, but was reliable and friendly. The cost was reasonable. The product looks and feels great. Time will tell.
