I purchased a car in Sept, 2021 at Auction in Alberta and shipped to Massachusetts. Through the ordeal Lindsay showed she didn’t know the business, didn’t follow up, and had a nasty attitude; - Getting pictures was like pulling teeth, she later threw this in my face as if it was a favor.. - At one point I mentioned the business wasn’t very easy to confirm. She threatened to cancel the deal. -Cars coming from Canada to the US need a CBP-7501 form. Never mentioned.. -I was told Mackie Transport would supply the CBP-7501. No... - I had to chase Jam imports for it.. Jam (whom EG chose) finally sent it- no explanation.. EG provided a Consignment Form and told me it was “all I need”. It had the wrong mileage, but even corrected, it wasn’t enough. Another trip to the RMV. - Cars brought into the US need Bills of Sale (in this case two) that show the continuity from the last owner. Again- a surprise to Lindsay. Had to drag it out of her, with more lip.

They were a pure pleasure to deal with. We had a booth set up and we were doing some on-site work for the consignors, so we were working closely with the event staff, as well as the owners. They are terrific people, and well organized. They truly cared about what was happening and that everyone was as successful as possible in all areas, from consignors to buyers to vendors. They seemed to make the auction fun for everyone. A truly classy organization, we are so glad to have had the experience we did!

If you have the cash and want a quality car look elsewhere and avoid some VERY mediocre cars and high buyers fees at these auctions. They always have a couple quality high end cars and the rest are junk. Really look at these cars closely especially underneath and you will see what I mean. Better yet find a private seller that has a quality example of the car you want and you will be miles ahead. As always perform your own due diligence on any car you buy.

I bought some memorabilia at the june auction at grey eagle. It was never announced or does it say in contract when all is done you pay in us funds with bank fees that's 34% more. scam

EG Auctions located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta operates collector car auctions in Alberta. They commit to having quality consignments available for a buyer to be confident with their online bidding process. I purchased a 1970 Monte Carlo 454 from the 2017 Edmonton Collector Car Auction that ran in conjunction with the Edmonton Motor Show. If you want to see misleading pictures and deal with some shady sellers that misrepresent their "collector cars", this is the auction for you. Unrealistic online pictures, bondo buggies with home paint jobs, mechanical leakers, construction screws holding the interior together, parts removed from the car that were there in the pictures, etc. I learned my lesson and it cost me huge. Learn from my experience and be glad you didn't get taken for a ride.
