I went for a first time counseling session, at first it started out fine, but then I felt like I didn't connect with the counsellor because of comments that were made, and felt like I was getting reprimanded by the counsellor for how I felt at the time. I go to another counsellor now who is more gentle.

My daughter who is 12 years of age was having problems in school and we were not able to calm her down. In fact, sending her to school everyday was a huge struggle. Even her teacher was worried because she found her upset throughout the day. Thanks to Bayridge Counselling Centre as they started a therapy with her which helped her a lot and I have my happy little angel back.

An array of professionals that offer great service. We have seen the pediatrician, a therapist and psychologist/doctor. They work in tandem as suits a patient's needs. Simply call the front (don't leave messages, too busy, but call during business hours) & share the issues you are dealing with. For our family, we needed support for ADHD and the team has been a huge help! It does cost money (we do have some private insurance coverage and the pediatrician is covered under OHIP) but I found it worth the price.

They never call you back or answer your emails. Contacted them about a dozen times. Shame on them.
