Do not use!!! Two movers did show up at 10 a.m. as promised...with only one dolly. They were so inept. After many calls to Jason regarding my dissatisfaction with his movers due to their obvious inexperience and slower than snails work ethic, Jason held my furnishings hostage in his dirty moving truck until he received the exuberant amount of money he wanted. Heed the warnings and do not use.

Takes days to have phone calls returned. Was charged over $1000 beyond their two estimates (including an in home estimate). They did not complete the job. I was required to pay 100% up front before the trucks were unpacked. I had items that were left behind. Despite multiple requests, they still have not given me a receipt, which I NEED to be reimbursed by my company. I am extremely disappointed with this company & anticipate a civil law suite. I feel embarrassed for trusting Jayson. He is not a man who leads with honour and integrity.

I'd like to rate the company -100 but that isn't a choice. This company just ripped my daughter off. They contracted to deliver her household goods to her new home yesterday morning. She waited...they didn't show. She called..they didn't answer. Finally they called to say they were stuck in Gibson's and couldn't get back but would deliver the next day at 7:00 AM. They didn't show. Several promises to deliver are broken. They finally show up at 3:00 PM and demand an extra $280 to release the goods. My daughter refuses and blocks their truck in and calls the RCMP. Several hours later the police show up and advise my daughter this is a scam this company has been perpetrating for some time but it's a contractual dispute and there is nothing they can do. So she paid the extra money, had what should have been a celebration of her new house turned into a horrible two days of frustration. NEVER CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY or you will pay the price.

What a joke!! This guy does this for a living? I spoke to Jason @ Surrey Movers weeks in advance of our move to Victoria to iron out all the specifics and to get home the deposit. Which is why it seemed odd that every time we was out of sorts. We had to remind him to reserve the ferry because we were moving on Labour day weekend. I chopped it up to him being really busy with other moves as well. He even came out to our place to see what we had to move. Unfortunately on move day he sent a truck half the size of what was needed and a big crew of people to pack the truck. They filled it quickly and then had to leave to go (leaving 3 guys)to another move. Meanwhile half our stuff was in a carport for hours before he sent (get this!) a cargo van and another truck that they were going to pi;e our stuff into only to unload and reload into another truck the next day for the second trip over to the island. Throughout all of this he did not answer my calls until I called him 5 or 6 times in a row. WHen the guys arrived in Victoria, they were down 1 guy and the driver had been working all day with a concussion. He had to take a nap in the middle of unloading. Turns out he didn't have anyone else to drive the truck for him. In the end he did not get all my things to the island on our move day. We had to wait until the end of the next day to get the rest of our things. He even had the nerve to tell me that I was lucky that he was not charging me for another load as if it was my fault that he did not plan the move properly. All this with my 2 daughters, pregnant wife and dog. I was lucky though. I was able to pressure him and had his guys' sympathy for the messed up situation he had put us all in. I did not pay him a penny more than we had agreed to. He never sent me a receipt for payment. Expecting that that would be the case, I had both his drivers sign a quick write up stating that I had paid, what amount and on what day. This guy has no clue what customer service is, he never acknowledged wrong doing and even tried to make it sound like he was doing me a favour for not charging me more. Plus they put a gouge in a cabinet, broke a couple of small items, glassware etc... Don't risk it! You may think you're saving money and supporting a small business but it is not worth the hassle in this case.

This is the best moving company I've ever worked with, not to mention the most affordable. They were very polite, helpful, and professional from start to finish. I've had bad experiences with other moving companies before (not handling my things carefully and breaking some stuff, being very rude and unhelpful) but thankfully this company was nothing like that. All of my belongings were still in perfect condition after they moved them, and they were very helpful and tried to accommodate all of my requests. To top it all off, they had the best price of every moving company I checked with. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.
