I knew my package was arriving today, so I stayed home in order to sign for my package. I signed up to receive a text alert when the driver was on their way. Didn't get a notification, but received an email around 4:30pm saying "sorry they missed me". I didn't even get a notice of delivery slip. I called immediately after receiving the email to get the driver to turn around and remedy his mistake, but instead they told me I had to pick it up the next day at a location 45 minutes away from my apartment. They said the best they could do is provide me with a gift card for $1.35 to remedy the complaint. Unacceptable, DHL. This isn't a first occurrence either. I knew this was going to happen as soon as I saw the company I was purchasing from was using DHL. Already vowed never to use DHL before from previous incidents. Didn't have a choice in this case. O star rating if I could.
