Greyhound Courier Express

Went to the downtown Calgary location to ship my daughter's birthday present. I arrived 15 minutes before closing, and was denied entrance to send my package. The employee stated that I needed to be there 30 minutes before closing to be served. To which I responded that their hours stated closing at 7pm. He became belligerent at that point telling me that he doesn't get paid past 7pm so they close at 6:45 to be sure they don't have to work for free. I was appalled at this and sent two separate emails to the head office. They didn't reply to either of them. So I guess they dont care at all about their customers. And I can also assume that they support that kind of behavior from their staff. I will use UPS now for everything. At least they give awesome service and care about their customers.

Parcel service is nice, but if you can, avoid their busses. They can overbook their busses, and often criminals are transported on the busses as well, which can get a bit uncomfortable if you're nervous around them. Have been harassed by passengers everytime I've gone up to Edmonton (sexual comments and looks, even after they found out I was underage at the time), so I advise using E-bus at Red Arrow. 10 bucks or so more and without any of these issues.

Absolutely the worst shipping experience ever!! Shipped a flat screen tv from Mississauga to Calgary and it was completely destroyed when it arrived. They refuse to honor any claim saying that when shipping electronics it is at the shippers own risk. Wish they would tell you those things ahead of time!! The shipment was picked up late, arrived late, we were charged twice for the shipment and we are out over $1,000.00... completely unbelievable and unacceptable. Although the box was marked FRAGILE, it looked as though they literally threw it in the bottom of a truck and piled heavy boxes on top of it. The screen was caved in and completely smashed and one corner was dented and crushed. If you have to ship anything, spend the extra money and send it with someone that will treat your stuff with care instead of shipping with these clumsy, irresponsible oafs!

What a junk place it is. Staff is so rude all people seems like working their for over 20 years no respect for other passengers. Seems like their age is just causing their ego and not providing a good Enviornment for passengers.
