Today, I discovered that Purolator engages in unethical business practices, and as such I will not be using your services any longer. Though, I can't imagine the loss of my business is of much concern to purolator when I consider the company is willing to take advantage of its own customers. I'm referring to your policy stating that all weights of packages will be rounded UP (regardless of the decimal value). This in effect results to being charged for up to 0.9 lbs of material that literally does not exist, and therefore creates no additional costs for the company which could even begin to justify this policy on any moral grounds . I don't know if anyone at purolator has taken high school math, but that's not how rounding works. That's how greedy business practices work. Don't bother trying to explain or defend this policy; you will never convince me
that in this day and age it is even inconvenient, let alone not feasible, to calculate the exact cost for the actual weight of an item. Or do the employees of purolator need classes in grade school arithmetic, as well? Either way, I probably shouldn't get so upset; after all, there are many other companies from which to choose.
