Canpar Courier

Unreliable. Sent a parcel express it went ground instead. Another booked express shipment was scheduled for a pick-up. They never came to pick it up. Customer service said they would call back, never did. The point of being a courier is to be reliable. Canpar has proven time and time again that when I need something shipped, that I cannot count on them for the service I am paying for. Simply put, they fail to deliver.

The worst attempt to be a courier that could ever have been made. I am not sure how these guys are in business still. I wish company's would quit using them for shipping. Customer service is brutal they can't help you at all or tell you why the driver didn't even attempt to make contact with the resident. Then they are unable to tell you were they decided to drop your package off. If you have a choice use a real courier like fed-ex or ups or even Canada post.

If you ever want to see your package don't use Canpar. They don't provide any notification on the day they plan to deliver and they expect that giving a 10 hr window on a working day is sufficient. If you miss your delivery there is a charge for a re-delivery attempt. I arranged with customer service for a second attempt and this was agreed upon, then I get a call back via voice mail saying that I would be charged for this and that my package would go to a location for me to pick up that evening. Called back to figure out where this location was and advised that the location of my package is now unknown and location of pickup is unknown. When I told the 2nd customer service agent what was told to me in the voice mail he started to tell me that deliveries can't be made to PO boxes. I have a house not a PO box and that has nothing to do with the message that I would be able to pick up my package in the evening.

My previous terrible, horrible, no good, very bad experience with this company has done a complete 180 in the last year. Deliveries are timely and always signed for. I even had one driver get ahold of me and take a second pass at delivering a package, going as far as stopping and meeting me on the street a couple blocks from my house to deliver my package, as that was the most convenient for me. Nice to see such significant improvements.

Horrible. eBay/Pitney Bowes package that they held for two days as my address was ‘undeliverable’ while I, (for two short days) repeatedly entered my correct address in ‘said form’. So, after two days back to the states it went. Not one attempt was made to contact me via phone although my number was available. Now I get to wait six weeks for it to come back up to Canada. Unacceptable.
