Dynamex - Calgary

Ordered two packages for 2 day shipping. No attempt to actually deliver the package was made. No notes left on door starting delivery attempt. No attempt to dial into complex with the buzzer directly beside the doors. Nothing. Was home for the entire day to receive my package and neither heard or saw anything from them.

Dec 15: Another Damn Lie! Dynamex could not deliver because of "incorrect address". I've been at this address and is easily accessible from the street. I think I understand their MO. Don't have enough staff? Then have someone at head office use any excuse to not deliver. This will give them a few days of grace. I don't know why Amazon uses this company to deliver packages that you pay for 1-Day delivery? ----------- Sept 2018: Slimy at Best! Their comment is "Delivery attempted at 6:05 AM and business is closed". I was at home and sleeping then. I found out later the package was actually received at 9:13 AM. Paid for 1-day shipping from Amazon for a package that was shipped from the Calgary distribution center to a Calgary address! My first experience with Dynamex and they are reprehensible in their business practices. The deceptive business practice is simply to say no one at home! They don't even attempt the delivery and expect the customer to call them and pickup at their depot.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would - I opted for 1 day delivery and I made a note on my account to call my cell phone as I do not have a buzzer code for my apartment - I received a notification that they had attempted delivery for 3 DAYS IN A ROW - with no phone call and every single day I called their customer service team they said they had made a note to call my number (which I already did) or that they would check with their "team" and dispatch (whatever that means). It is now almost friday and I still haven't received ANY communication from them about my package. DO NOT whatever you do ever use this company, they are completely useless.

Would Give No Stars If I Could I paid extra on Amazon to ensure I had 1 day shipping, well guess what? It is now day 2 and not only was my package not even attempted to be delivered yesterday, but when I phoned the customer service line they said that they couldn't guarantee my package would be delivered to my office before closing any days this week and after 3 attempts they return the package to Amazon. I cannot believe Amazon is using companies like this that do not deliver in realistic times. If I pay for next day delivery and their tracking shows Dynamex got it at 6 am yesterday, why wasn't it put on a truck to be delivered yesterday morning?

This is the worst shipping service I have ever experienced in my life. After reading the existing bad reviews and from my own experience, I started to wonder why Amazon uses this company for Prime delivery in Alberta. Dynamex not only delivered my order a few days late, but also lied that they made 2 delivery attempts and made it sound like they did not want to leave the item unattended in front of my door. I can wait for a couple of days more but I cannot keep up with their lies and false promises. I had to call Amazon 5 times to ask about the delivery and requested to take Dynamex off from my list. I love Amazon but I really hate the fact that they work with Dynamex after all of these bad reviews from customers.
