DHL

My package arrived in BC on May 14th! It's been sitting somewhere for 2 weeks!! I received a framed print from the UK in less than 36 hours through UPS! DHL needs to get it together and fly right! I will no longer be ordering this product if they continue to use DHL!

the WORST. I ordered a jacket from the US. it went on a two week trip to GERMANY before coming to canada. I ordered my wedding dress. It got from Liverpool to Vancouver overnight - then sat there for nearly two days despite the fact that I'd already paid the duties. I waited at home the entire day it was due. No dress. Next day I had to be in the office. It said no signature required, but the driver came and didn't leave the package. they won't bring it back today and they won't let me pick it up tonight. HORRIBLE.

EDIT: I had initially written a poor review because my package was sent to another city and during an initial phone conversation with their call centre they said they did not deliver to my area despite taking my money for priority shipping with my home address listed. I was quite frustrated since this meant I would have to take a ferry to pick up my package; however, later in the day I received a callback from a customer service rep from DHL and they ended up putting the package on a local air carrier and had it delivered to me before the end of the day - I was really frustrated by my experience up until that point but have to give them a credit for the exceptional effort in fixing the problem once they became aware of it.

I must receive about about 70 parcels a year from different shippers and express services. DHL *almost always* manages to botch them. For example, I paid about $95 for fast international express service on a big parcel. That parcel managed to go through three international airports in just two days -- a remarkable feat -- but the local Victoria team somehow managed to miss the delivery despite that I was home all day with the front door wide open. Part of their problem is that they sublet building space from Loomis Express (even though they are separate companies now) and they sometimes outsource deliveries to their Loomis partners. I've had to play phone tag between them and Loomis with each party denying involvement and attributing fault to the other. Absolutely terrible, just go with FedEx or Canada Post if you can.
