Uncomfortable, dangerous and insulting
My boyfriend and I took a trip from Lethbridge, Alberta To Vancouver.
it was surprisingly expensive. Well we didn't expect luxury, we didn't expect busses from the 1970 either. The sink was ripped out so we couldn't even fill a water bottle. In it's place was a no rinse hand sanitizer. The chemicals in the toilet as it doesn't flush splashed up and chemical burned me, I am tempted to send pictures to the company, I ended up with welts and a doctors appointment. We had a mere 20 minutes to make a transfer in the dead of an Albertan winter which obviously we didn't make given we were nearly 3 hours late. The second driver was nuts, we named him speedy, he seemed to think the drive was a video game and drifted corners in the mountains. Not to mention that he was speeding for nearly 200km with poor road conditions, so much so making us 40 minutes early for on of our stops. For the last 650km we were not allowed to stop for anything; not a drink, snack or smoke after multiple passenger requests. The buss was in terrible condition, it rattled like crazy so few got any rest on a 16 hour trip. The foot room was non-existent, the seats were cramped, old and very uncomfortable. We made over 16 tops picking up packages, most of which were not treated with care, some drivers near threw them in the hold.
Worst of all the customer service woman in Vancouver. After explaining the above telling me it wasn't the first nor would it be the last time she's heard such complaints and was blatantly NOT interested. I was given a 1800 number which I had already called when we reached the hotel and told her so!! They were so inept, they couldn't even take a ticket confirmation number after saying it slowly 3 times and disconnected me twice instead of putting me on hold.
In the end I was told I'd have to write a letter to head office in full detail explaining why I'd want any money back at all. We flew home, neither of us could bare that miserable and danger trip again.
Keep our money, I hope you choke on it. And I PRAY I save someone else the misery of your "service" with this review.
I have never in 41 years held such contempt for a company.
SHAME ON YOU GREYHOUND if I had the money, I'd be suing you for the burns and misery and incompetence.
