DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! ! Bad exeprience! DISHONEST! Be very vigilant if they want to charge you small amount like 5 bucks for parcel FULLY PAID BY SHIPPER in title of Pick Up Charge OR OTHER EXCUSES. You should not pay for it. Not Justified charge. I believe this store kept doing this kind of unjustified small amount charges from time to time. Possibility for people to complain them with UPS for so small amount is minimum. So they can from time to time grab 5 dollars here and there. Look at other people's reviews. My experience is Not One-Off. Fortunatlely I kept my receipt and the full label of the shipment and reported them to UPS then the Corporate office of the UPS Store. TRUTH is The $5.25 Pick up Charge was not legitimate! THE Store LIED ON ACCUSING the label on the parcel was wrong. The label proved is prefectly correct printed with a big bold D2R (means direct ot retail store)sign and fully paied by shipper. This store is DISHONEST. Of Corse, The Corportate Office of the UPS store phone (905) 338 9754 will try to stand in their franchisees' shoes. Make sure your label is FULL when they delivered to you at the Store and the receipt. Cause with no full label and receipt from the store, the Customer Service of the Corporate Office will not help you at all. NO MORE BUSINESS WITH THIS UPS STORE 452 in Edmonton!

Went to go get a package during listed hours and they were closed for no reason.

Unsatisfied. I order from Footlocker.ca, they use UPS as their Canada wide delivery contractor. I used this UPS Access Point address on my order to simplify things and make it easy for me to pick up at my desired time since no body is ever home. Staff asked me to pay 5$ to pick up my package although shipping charges to UPS were already paid during online order. Staff's excuse was that they are an independent store and they wont get a commission on that shipping charge, which doesn't make sense to me since their location is a UPS location and they would have to hold it anyway. NOWHERE ON UPS WEBSITE ARE MENTION OF THIS HIDDEN FEE, STIPULATES PACKAGES ARE HOLDED FREE OF CHARGE FOR UP TO 5 DAYS. On the tracking page it clearly says I can pick up my package at the UPS Access Point location and under is a note stipulating all I need is government ID to pick up the order, no fees. I reluctantly paid it before I researched all of this, and kept the receipt. Took all necessary pictures from all sections of the website to prove my case and will bring it up to the store today and UPS customer service were already contacted about that. This is false representation and dishonest business practices, there are no sections on the website talking about independent UPS store policies and fees. What anger me the most is that my first order was picked up, the staff never said anything, I didnt pay the 5$ suggesting everything was in order since the shipper is UPS, then I ordered more stuff, went back there to pick up the first package of 3 packs of a same order and was told I have to pay 5$! Top of that there were 2 package already on the way, I feel totally scammed even if the lady said she would "try" to convince the manager to waive it... Not impressed at all by their methods. Go somewhere else. When websites use Canada post as their delivery contractor I have no issue picking it up FOR FREE at my Flex-delivery mailbox address at ANY of my desired CP location.
