Purolator

After seeing so many negative reviews I didn't have high hopes. However my package came right to my door sooner than the expected delivery date, and the driver was very friendly, and even waited a bit for me to finish something. Very good experience this time, I hope it stays like this.

This Purolator does not like to deliver packages to residential homes in my experience. I've had a couple of packages back to back and instead of delivering the first time they left a message telling me that the package could not be delivered "due to no access to your apartment building" which is strange because I live in a house that has a large front door facing the street... The second package had a voicemail saying that I must pick up because it did not even make it to the delivery truck that day because of the "large volume of packages". For the second package I tried to call and ask for them to put it on a truck for the next day or even next week but there is never any answer on their phone line. Not to mention that when you get to the outlet to pick up your package the customer service is very bad. I avoid shopping with merchants that use UPS or Purolator just so I won't have to deal with this outlet.

It is an extremely sad fact that I ordered the exact same item twice, expecting this to happen. Welcome to Purolator service. Ordered a computer part for two day shipping, after the end of the second day I get an email saying nobody answered the door. Which makes sense since nobody knocked or rang. This was a Friday so naturally it was delayed another 2 days. In the afternoon of Monday I called to inquire where the package was, I was promptly informed it was delivered, to a church. The lady told me she would send for a pickup and that she would phone me when she got updates. I told her that I would pick it up from the depot since I didn’t want any more problems. She said okay. Today I was phoned and told it was delivered to my house, which is a problem since I knew that nobody would be home, and why I asked to pick it up. Hopefully it hasn’t walked off since it has been on the step for three hours. In front of a bus stop. on a main street. Thanks Purolator! 👍

They are the worst in town by far. It's pathetic, i've asked senders to avoid using them. I've told Amazon to stop sending through them as well. Another weather delay today, that one is getting real old. The weather has been great for a few days now. Truck broke down, weather delay there is always some excuse with them it's just ridiculous. My package will be "out for delivery" for days and still not get delivered.

The previous reviews are definitely so true. Using Purolator is painful to say the least. Online shopping is not the future it's the "present" and they are one of the biggest obstacles to a great online shopping experience. Had same situation happen with previous reviewers, with the attempted delivery and with delayed delivery. Why pay 2 day shipping when clearly that's too much work for them? Not to mention the whining delivery person when your parcel is over 50lbs, you knew what you were getting into when you got the job. I'd barely give them 1/2 a star if I could.
